Fun thread (to be sure). You are not the devil; (Urantia Book) should be the alternative to the Bible (best little known book ever published; took me year to read all approx.2000 pages). I actually lived within walking distance (Chicago) from their Foundation at the Diversey Pkwy address.

Good for you, but don’t presume to judge those for whom it is. There is nothing superior about your way of looking at it.

Having said that, if you want a couple tips how to increase your star-dom, you can try posting early on the weekends, more people are online then...I do it because I want to engage people... A side effect of that is more stars.

The members of ATS are far from complete strangers to me. I remember their screen names, their avatars and their personalities. I can tell from their posts not only much of what they believe but also a lot about their background, education, interests and personalities. So can you. So can anybody.

This is a community of members. That is, people. It hardly matters that we don’t know one another’s names and faces. Names and faces are just tags we use to classify the really important information. Which is all in the posts.

We all want better for our children.

We all need to feed not only our children but also ourselves so we can feed our children.

What does 'word chess' have to do with feeding the children (I am in total agreement here). We do not want our Adult children living with us without options (and I do not mean armed robbery or nicking/pinching from the local 7-11) as reasonable viable employment. I want our children to thrive and do what they were born to do; help their parents in an 'old age' potentially pathetic situation.

This: Very insightful. In some ways better than we don't have faces and names, in the same way that a good author makes YOU fill in the blanks with your imagination.

The separation is the inability to use ones imagination to create something unique to oneself. The only contradiction is the inability to see this wonderous potential to a fruition (the opportunity due to a living circumstance that thwarts). There is no separation regarding empathy for one another which is an equalizer in understanding another's fate may be exact or similar to ones own.
