Some of you might have noticed funky dancing hamsters and kangaroos upon arriving on this site this morning (I know some people did).

As for me I must admit that Bill did have me fooled for a second there.

When I arrived at the site this morning, I was surprised to only see this instead of the home page:



"Oh my word", I thought. "It finally happened. "

But after a few seconds - very long seconds, might I specify - the image informed me of this:



After which the image faded to allow me to log in.

Hehe, you got me, Skeptic Overlord. Nicely done sir!

Yes got me too. I never usually look at ATS first thing in the morning. But I had an open thread so woke up and refreshed the page... got this graphic and was completely fooled.

I for some reason clicked on a Trump thread , god knows why . Looked at the dancing squirrels and thought how clever . Then i realised US politics bores me to death so i closed the page .

Ya got me too...

I immediately starting to wonder where the heck I was gonna go now...

Should have added something along the lines of, "Your IP has been logged and can be used in any further investigation."

I've become quite paranoid about it (ransomware) a few businesses I've dealt with have been hit by it recently. Funny, but it hasn't been on the news. . . . .

It was this morning not more than 10 minutes before I logged on and that is why it got me.

After unplugging my router, frying my CD's and memory cards in the microwave, locking my doors and hiding my fire arms I remembered what day it was. Good one SO good one.

Best reply, I got both images as I dropped out and cleared my cache just in case and so have most of those that have seen it, Notice how fast the site is - they are scared to log on.

I totally thought WTF! Because I lost all my files that were up
last night & am still having to search them for recovery.

Yeah, I got the gopher's and it had me saying what the hell. What is really funny though is my internet went down right after. The router reset. Everyone here was crying about their internet going down. Coincidence? Not sure. Maybe there is more in that code than a simple joke. Duh . . . duh . . . duh

I got the dancing animals and I thought "What website am I on again?" because I had a lot of tabs open. Thanks for making me start the day with a smile
