It has more to do with control and abuse than equality.

58 million murders since Roe vs. Wade.

Thank God you are the moral authority to judge them as murders. Since abortion is never mentioned in the Bible we need someone like you to play God.

"Surprisingly, abortion is never mentioned in the Bible, despite the fact that it has been practiced since ancient times by a variety of means"
www.christianbiblereference.org...

Abortion IS in the Bible. God, through the voice of Moses, commanded priests to perform abortions on women whose husbands believed that they may have been unfaithful.

Number 5:19
Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you.

But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”— here the priest is to put the woman under this curse—

“may the Lord cause you to become a cursed among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.

‘Then the woman is to say, “Amen. So be it.”

Ok, I stand corrected. I should have specified 'New Testament' instead of 'Bible'. So, God himself commanded abortions, as opposed not doing it. Interesting.

Actually, If it is moral principles you stand on then there should be laws sending sperm donors to prison for desertion and non payment for pre natal care.

Yes, but the Word spoken is not the abortion. It is a statement of fact. I suspect that because a woman acquires her partner's DNA that there is a part of her body that is adverse to the entrance of another aspect of foreign male DNA.

Remember, those days, people didn't have the knowledge, they had to be directed at their level of understanding and speech. Though sometimes I wonder if that has changed at all?

I'm not buying that these women are victims. They made a choice and now they want to take that same right to choose from others.

Please don't ignore my question. You accused me of making things up. Please tell me what exactly that is..
Are you suggesting that disability, rape and poverty don't exist? Or that contraception never fails? Those are only things I said.

It is about equality. This whole conversation is about equality. Does the baby get a say? If momma won't, who will? Does the man have a say? Did both parties agree to sex? Does the government give a voice to its unborn citizens? Can women take responsibility instead of blaming everything on someone else, therefore making themselves equal? All life is good to save if it can be saved. That all life is equal surely is something people can understand. This has everything to do with equality.

Adding words to me again are they?

If the baby is certainly going to die, then I'm not against that. If the baby will certainly live, then I am. But that's the mother's choice to choose to protect her baby's life over her own. If she can't do that, then she would make a horrible mother and isn't a decent human being in the first place. Honor and death or Shame and life? I personally would rather die in Honor protecting those I love and for my beliefs than to make someone else die to take responsibility and for me to have a useless life of shame. That's just me, though.

So let me get this straight, if a single mother dies as opposed to having an abortion where she would live, you'd rather the baby live having no mother. You must be a real hoot at parties.

Yes, that's true. But Trump thinks he will be King and can ban abortion with the wave of his wand... Trump has a LOT of crazy ideas about what it means to be president... He doesn't have a clue!

Thanks for replying, BenevolentHeretic. What's nuts to me is that people say they're sick of smooth tongued politicians who say and promise anything to get elected. Then, when a guy who says how he feels at the moment comes along, people dump him and elect another traditional politician. To say that people are "imperfect" is an understatement.

LOL. Neither is the spoken word cause for the creation of the universe, but you know, religion! HAHA.

At any rate, this scripture isn't about a "spoken word". It's about forcing a woman, who may or may not be pregnant, to drink a "bitter water" concoction that cause miscarriages.

Those are things that never had anything to do with what I was saying, but they have been addressed in previous posts. Your fantasy is that woman should have all the choice but no responsibility. A fantasy is something made up. A woman has all the choice to not have sex in poverty. She can choose of she gets pregnant to overcome and adapt. If her man is useless and she gets out there and takes charge, another man will see her as great and grab her up and put her on a pedestal.

You have no experience with these real life problems. Keep playing with your numbers and links. Go live. You have time still to do that. 40 is the new 30.

You understand that adults have to make decisions for young kids, babies and foetuses right?

Since they can't really think about the choices they have. So...no a foetus doesn't a say. The woman has to make that choice for both of them.

As for the rest of your comment about women taking responsibility...i knew it. You dislike women. It's dripping off of everything you are writing. Seen it 100 times before.

Quote anything that suggests I hate women, I dare you.

So you kinda just proved your last post wrong and proved me right, so. ... yeah.

You have your own definition of "responsibility", and that is that if a woman finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy, the ONLY responsible thing to do is to carry that pregnancy to term. It is not! Sometime, the MOST responsible thing to do is to opt to terminate the pregnancy.

I suspect he's one of those people who doesn't like women for some reason. And yes..so many anti abortionists would rather the mother dies and the child lives sans mum than a FOETUS (not a baby) gets terminated early on. And they call themselves pro life. Delusional.

Religion. It's all down to religion. The sooner we rid ourselves of this filth the sooner we can all lead better, happier lives.
