Nice, your first experience with a feminist. Welcome to the dark side. What you encountered is not rare, as a matter of fact it is widespread and this
"culture" is being taught in college and through the media. It goes deeper than this. The ideology she was spouting is not just with women's issues.
They also think that all white men are racist, sexist, rapists, islamophobes, homophobes, transphobes, etc. They believe that the biggest evil on this
planet is the straight white male. These are the people you see protesting at colleges, attacking people at Trump rallies, and destroying anything and
anyone that disagrees with them.
This is where all of this comes from:
Intersectionality is a concept often used in critical theories to describe the ways in which oppressive institutions (racism, sexism, homophobia,
transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, classism, etc.) are interconnected and cannot be examined separately from one another.
Now next time you see someone say the term SJW or social justice warrior, these are the people we are talking about. We have a few of these people on
this website as a matter of fact. I am sure you will start seeing who they are.
A normal person that believes in equal rights regardless of race, sex, etc. is now labeled as a racist based on the color of their skin alone. It is
disgusting and very "Naziesque." They also do not believe in freedom of speech and take a very violent authoritarian approach to things.
