He resigned rather than face impeachment.

The thing is that in Ontari-OWE we had someone in the government PAY someone to delete incriminating emails surrounding the cancellation of a contract for billions wasted on gas plants in two Liberal ridings, and it went absolutely no where. He was also pardoned, prior to indictment, by President Gerald Ford.

Hillary Clinton will have to be indicted prior to any potential charges that may occur.

If She is as Innocent as she Claims to be , maybe she should Agree to take a Lie Detector Test while under Questioning , although i would advise the F.B.I. to check her for Tacks in her Shoes First ...........

Ok yes prior to indictment.
Still that indictment was pending. There were going to be charges made against Nixon when he resigned. He didn't admit anything but did say " to avoid further embarrassment to the office" or something like that.
In other words it was all going down anyway.
In Hillary's case all they've done is investigate a computer and e mails. At this point there is nothing to pardon.

Correct. And to note, if she gets the nomination, she is still not impeachable. Any "pending" indictment would be the result of evidence that would bring it forward.

Basically she is fully able to be pardoned all the way up to election day, regardless of any indictment.

In fact, it would in effect nullify any investigation that could bring charges forward or any chance of indictment.

Basically, she could have a clean slate come election day.

There's always the possibility that she's done nothing wrong and the FBI says so.
Of course the right wing nutters will say oh it was swept under the carpet. Just like they do Whitewater or Benghazi. The Clinton's are never innocent nooooooo... they are always "getting away with something. "

FBI will just slap Hillary on the wrist, and congrats her for being the first female president.

Nah ... if there were going to be charges ... you'd just hear she was arrested.

That they're saying she is to be interviewed is govt speak for walking back the previous strong statements.
