A 10-foot paper mock-up of the billionaire businessman lit up the night sky Saturday in Mexico City as hundreds gathered to watch Trump--who's been a source of intense ire to many in the country since announcing his bid for president--turn to ash.

The effigy was the handiwork of Mexico City artist Leonardo Linares, who built it in the days leading up to the holy week celebrations.

"For Latinos here and in the U.S., he's a danger," Linares, told the Washington Post. "He's a good man to burn as a Judas."

Looks like the Mexican people have a grudge against the Donald.......could it be they don't want to be walled in on one side?
I have to say they seem to show a lot more good sense than half of America....The race to the presidency has never been such a ridiculous farce....
Im sure us outsiders in Mexico and |Canada have a few trepidations about the results of this show of ignorance...
The two most popular candidates are at odds with their respective party....
The whole effigy thing taking place in real life in front of our eyes.....

The guys frustratingly horrible when it comes to discussing issues with minorities, women, poor, etc...it would be better to have a enraged chimp become a therapist than have this guy try to discuss the whole idea of caring conservatives.

But I am curious
Why all the hate? his policy here is fairly straightforward...lock down the borders to stop the mass migration of illegals and drugs, but keep legal immigration and migrant workers coming..we just want to know who is coming in and out of the country and keep crime down by drug lords and crazyness out.

how is Donald soo bad at explaining this? Anyone can say this and it makes sense, but when he says it..it feels he is 2 steps away from dueling banjos in some peoples ears...is it because he is endlessly smug while saying it? (probably)

Honestly, they spit on their own religious beliefs too, Jesus would be pissed at them for not turning the other cheek and desecrated his resurrection with hate. You know what's crazier than that? Right here in good ol Albuquerque NM, USA, A Mexican American actually torched a live Native American with fireworks. And the Mexican got away with it. that's the type of news that pisses me off.

Its just the media and the brain washed people who are upset, i think most people agree with his stance on it, including immigrants who came to the country legally.

That's pretty tame compared to burning people to death in a barrel of diesel fuel......and they get away with that too...

After all we are a nation of many peoples that form one country.

No American citizen holds any allegiance to any foreign state.

And that people is the way it is.

Anyone that identifies themselves, and a 'latino' first, or any other ethnicity is the problem.

See because this is the United States of America.

I agree completely, I am mixed race, with some Latino in me, but when any one asks me where are you from or what nationality are you, I say i am American and that's the way it should be.
