Who in the country--besides the present candidates--are your choices to be good presidents?

We all know we have terrible choices: Hillary or Bernie, Trump, Cruz or Kasich. If you had a choice other than those in the race now who would you pick as worthy to be president?

My choice would be the ex-senator from Wisconsin, Russ Feingold or the present Governor of California, Jerry Brown.

Feingold was a honest level headed liberal who was for election reform. Brown has turned around California and has had experience on all levels of government as a Mayor and Governor.

I would support a man I know and respect immensely, John Lovick. He has served his Nation and community for over half his life, and has executive experience on a county level. Lovick is a man who gives tirelessly of himself in the hope of improving others lives. Most of the posters here don't know who he is, or what he's about. Maybe that's what we need.

I would agree that we need a military person to give it a try.

Having said that I would follow it by stating it should be a Corps or large Division level Command Sergeant Major rather than an officer.

Same education level (nearly) but far more world experience and they come from the "peasant stock".

I have my favorites and my biases but I'd never put their names here (good or bad).

I thought about having my name put on the presidential ballot to see if I could get at least one vote. I'm not crazy enough to vote for myself.

Brown’s done a great job of saving California. Don’t let old stereotypes prejudice your judgment

Goodness gracious...

Almost anyone but the three stooges...

Gary Johnson comes to mind, very quickly.

I venture to guess that many people could handle the job, especially if they hire good help for the cabinet. That's the key, right there...good help.

When one picks stooges as help, bad things tend to follow.
