Oh he knows, he is a quitter himself. He was able to quit 2 years ago cold turkey without any problems whatsoever. It was really kind of strange.

Detoxing from some addictions can be very hard... I know it from personal experience!

I've quitted for several years and started again, a couple of times.

I have a sort of perverted pleasure in the will power needed to quit each time.
I quit a few months ago, still have dreams about smoking sometimes. Gained weight, but am working it off now.

This sounds really superficial, but the difference it made in my skin was incredible and every time I get an urge for a smoke, I remind myself of that.
I feel so much more healthy now.
