Escalators are self powered
vhb: edited by Bedlam (Pyramids)
Bedlam: Then you have thought...wrongly.
It's a pile of rock. There's nothing being stored there except rock. It's a really big rock warehouse
someone: On the other hand, an escalator is an ascension machine.
vhb;I have always thought of them as huge batteries dispensing power.
Bedlam: No, no, an escalator is more like a big exercise machine that no one uses correctly.

Escalators are self powered
They're powered by the great God Otis, whose breath causes them to rise throughout all eternity.

Are there any elevators or escalators there? If so, then there is a good chance the name is as well.

No. They are large piles of well arranged stones.
Why do you think they look like batteries?
You could do that with a bomb shelter too. Doesn't mean anyone did, or that it would do anything if they had.
Looking at the main pyramid structure; you could deposit certain materials into the individual shafts; then they combine in one of the central chambers and could produce a reaction is all.

I am saying this pyramid was a battery; created at least 12000 years ago for a purpose.
