There is an upcoming election in the United States. If you are not in her, even still you are interested, because she affects the whole earth. I am a US citizen but do not reside in the United States.

All over the world "Christians" involve themselves in politics, even though Jesus did NOT.

And the Christian faith is that people of all sorts out of all tribes and nations and tongues will be saved.

And we know, as Christians that we cannot kill our brother and love God.

So anyone involved in politics and wars of the world are NOT Christian.

That is right. Do you make up the majority of people that worry about politics and are in Christendom? Then you are a part of Satan's system of things.

Because Jesus said that Satan was the ruler of the world. And Jesus never took sides in political disputes, but said that his kingdom was "not from this source" from the world.

You are not Christian and hate how Christians can take political sides and murder each other, and force their laws on people? Then you have valid arguments. Jesus did not nor do his followers. Satan has counterfeit "Christians" that are doing all these things and leading you away from the truth.

"What is truth?" some may ask. If you have that attitude it is possible you will understand, because you really DON'T care, and don't want to.

If you are a reasoning person, and realize all of the above is rational. Then you also know that God is a God of love. And that his people must have love among each other everywhere in the world.

That is logical. So really, people who will respond to God's message are those who are reasonable, not intolerant, not extremist. They realize that love is the important factor in all things.

Not all people realize this. Do you? Then you are special. And if you don't, can you mold your thinking ability to be able to understand it? You can. You can break free from the fetters you are in, but it takes a thinking and reasonable mind. That is all. That is all that is needed.

Know this: ALL government in all countries is under Satan's control. NO person voting for office has God's approval. No religion that involves itself in politics is approved by God.

Easy to understand. Logical. Not ALL religion therefore is bad. But ALL religion expect ONE is from Satan. And if you are not of that one, then you are indeed part of Satan's system of religion. And if you don't believe in it, then perhaps that is why. But you are still mislead by Satan.

Simple, clear, logical. And not only that, when you think it through, correct. And loving. Thinking minds with eyes to see and ears to hear will be able to discern it.

Not unthinking illogical ones only bent on arguing and hate. Not those.

Are you talking about the history of Christianity or the history of apostate Christianity? If you don't know the difference, I take it you don't even know the history of it, you don't even realize what the prophecies say about it.

But we are not here to argue. You have not even touched on the logical arguments. And that is because you cannot. Correct? Or take one logical argument....

Or take history and teach us where what is stated in the OP is wrong.

Perhaps you could tell me what "true" Christianity is before we continue...

ye got a few thousand choices...

the earliest of which leads us back to a time where the "church" eliminated the competition

pick your flavor

I hold political views, but I will not be voting. If my choices are limited to socialists, dominionists, and sell-outs, then I will not participate in their game.

Jesus said that until He returns, we will hear of wars and rumors of wars, and Jesus told his disciples to arm and defend themselves. There is a time for fighting and a time for pacifism. Learning to know what to do when the time comes is important. That's just the way it is. When the war comes to me, I will fight as long as it is in defense of my fellow citizens, till then I'm not even paying attention anymore.

I am not here to brandish words with a fool. If you cannot understand the words in the OP that is ok. I will leave you be.

And I will answer you question (which I can), if you answer those in the OP. Which you cannot. So there you go.

No, earliest leads to source, which didn't consider anything competition and eliminated misconceptions instead.

I respect what you state, because you state it with conviction.

But I will challenge you. Where did Jesus say: arm and defend yourselves?

Because this is what Jesus said, after Peter armed himself with a sword and tried to protect Jesus from the slave and sliced off his ear. After healing the slave's ear Jesus told Peter:

(Matthew 26:51-53) 51 But look! one of those with Jesus reached out his hand and drew his sword and struck the slave of the high priest, taking off his ear. 52 Then Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword. 53 Or do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father to supply me at this moment more than 12 legions of angels?

Do you really think a Christian has to fight for himself carnally on earth? Then you lack faith God and Jesus and are ignorant of the REAL war being waged. It is not physical but spiritual, and the armor and weapon a spiritual warrior uses is NOT carnal, but spiritual:

Because we have a struggle, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. For this reason take up the complete suit of armor from God, so that you may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after you have accomplished everything, to stand firm. - Ephesians 6:12, 13.

I do not say this in ANY way to rebuke you. But out of love to try and readjust you in a spirit of peace.

But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

(2 Timothy 2:23-26) . . .Further, reject foolish and ignorant debates, knowing that they produce fights. 24 For a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, showing restraint when wronged, 25 instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed. Perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the Devil, seeing that they have been caught alive by him to do his will.

(1 Corinthians 1:25) 25 Because a foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and a weak thing of God is stronger than men.

(1 Corinthians 1:27, 28) . . .but God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong things to shame; 28 and God chose the insignificant things of the world and the things looked down on, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,

Luke 22:36 And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.

There are times to legitimately defend yourself and family from evil, but when the authorities outlaw faith (making us criminals), then you are not to resist. Daniel didn't resist when Nebuchadnezzar had him arrested, nor did Jesus resist.

But Christians are not supposed to be blanked pacifists. We have to know when its right to defend ourselves, and when to lay down our lives.

No indeed you still have not answered the OP, though you find yourself wise in your own wisdom.

Jesus himself stated:

"You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.” - Matthew 22:37-40.

So love is really the REAL factor in determining a true Christian.

You can debate words, but you cannot refute what Jesus said. Can you? If you cannot, then you have to admit defeat.

And any logical person has to realize that LOVE is the way of the true God.

Agreed. But that quote of Jesus was before the one that was quoted before Jesus died where he said:

"All who live by the sword will perish by the sword."

And IN NO way did Jesus condone any of his servants, or apostles fighting among themselves because they were of differing backgrounds.

Or could you imagine Peter blowing up John because they were of differing races? (they are not, but that is an example). Would Jesus really have condoned that?

why would i even try to refute Jesus... he is ALL my ammunition... lol

I just gave you a hand full of Jesus and you tried to "refute" it with Paul...

soo really who should be admitting defeat... as if this was a battle

And any logical person has to realize that LOVE is the way of the true God.

and yet you seem to believe "love" is logical...

cute

Very interesting ideas, and I agree with you...

Not only is it logical, it's also backed up by scripture:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” ~John 14:6

There are only two religious systems in the world.

Satan controls one, the other belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the ONLY way to God.

BTW, did you know that JFK was born again just a few weeks before he was killed?

There is at least one ex-politician in Heaven.

That you DON'T understand love is logical speaks volumes. Only Satan would really think that way.

And still you have not refuted the OP. Instead try to sow doubt in God's word, something Satan himself also would do.

I would not be remiss to imagine you yourself are possessed with demons and are of Satan. But I will not.

You yourself bought up that LOVE is not logical.

But that's my exact point. Jesus was MADE enemy of the state by the Sadducees and Pharisees. Therefore to defend Jesus with the sword would have gone against the authorities. When authorities come for you, then you either flee or lay down your life.

Self defense is entirely different, and when it comes to defending the homeland from invaders, we are to take up the sword.
