Glitch with Applause notifications?

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE NOTIFICATIONS AT ALL, LIKE A FOOL I MISTOOK THE 'TROPHY' ICON IN THE MINI PROFILE FOR THE APPLAUSE FIGURE, LOL...NOTHING TO SEE HERE UNLESS OF COURSE YOU WANT TO CHUCKLE AT MY STUPID MISTAKE...I WOULDN'T BLAME YOU AT ALL!

Has anyone else noticed that they no longer receive mail notifications after an Applause from mods/admin?

I see that the number has increased in my mini profile but no accompanying message to inform me who 'clapped' and for what posts.
It's of course not the end of the world, but I used to get a message in the U2U's and now I don't, but it would be nice to know to say thanks.
Has the message system broke, or is it just broken for me?

I got one this morning, and the mail...
Shocking! I know!

Perhaps it is from some time back and you missed the mail and it got buried deep deep below your other U2Us?

I haven't noticed a problem, but if the Mods want to use me as a test, they are more than welcome.

there is of course a difference between getting applauses or getting spanked

The reason I know I haven't been getting the messages is because I remember being on the 100 mark and then it mysteriously rose without any notifications over the last few weeks.
...can you take applause back? I obviously didn't deserve that lol

100? Well I guess they can take them back then, because now you only have 25. lol.

I don't want to derail the thread, but... Does receiving applause offset a spanking some how?
I haven't gotten applause for some time, but the e-mail for the spankings seem to work fine.

The applause number is the number next to the trophy not the number next to the lightning strike.

The trophy is the WATS score.

Your applause total is listed on your profile ( click on your username next to one of your posts to see the page - the totals for everything are on the left hand side )
