From what I gather the city of Boston is looking to trim about 50 million dollars from the education budget. Mayor Marty Walsh reported that the number is closer to 30 million dollars...more importantly the youth exercised their right to protest and despite a few possible arrests not central to the protest area it seemed quite positive.

I'm not sure on the exact number of youth but it did indeed look substantial and pretty well organized..if not well organized the kids did a nice job winging it..

The Mayor preferred that the youth protested after school but I personally think it would have had less impact..

Not a sexy post but it's nice to see a legit protest now and then..

I keep hearing on ATS that the Millennials are lazy and don't care about anything other than their devices, so this story has to be false.

Cuts to education and sciences.... Oh well Italy has been the champion at it since 1992. Italian education ministry: making sure the whole country is permanently backward and believes every bollocks their corrupt media and politicians tells them.
But that's not just a matter of funding. That's a matter of being backwards.
