I always wanted to make this thread
That I moved in with an ats friend from a year ago then outside the house was a forest I went in. There I was deceived into a trap and raped by a vampire I was missing a chunk of my neck but no one would believe me then I looked in a mirror opened my jacket and all my clothes were soaked in blood and I passed out.. Then I went into a lucid stream state dreaming of getting attacked over and over then I smelled incense

I was waiting for a parcel delivery and saw the guy pull up and come to the door. He handed me the DVD I've been waiting on and he started asking me about my old martial arts school. I told him what I remembered, getting a little bit philosophical as I tend to do on that subject when I noticed that there were two cute Asian women rummaging around near my wifi router in the next room. I asked them what was going on and what they were doing in my house, they explained that they had a startup company that was just taking off and they were trying out a new advertising system. They'd been in touch with my ISP and got permission to attach a small device to everyone's home router which would somehow feed adverts directly into my computer.
For some reason this made perfect sense and was acceptable, so I let them get on with it.

Walking outside (and I'm pretty sure the delivery guy/martial arts enthusiast just kind of made himself at home, and I was cool with that too for some reason), I went to the backyard. Sun was out and it was a beautiful day, a small red brick path wandering through unkept grass. Near some shrubbery by the fence, I saw an adorable kitten with a dark body and a light grey head. Woke up with a smile.

My house in this dream was pretty awesome, kind of a high ceiling log cabin design with an upstairs loft area.

The last dream I can remember was about marshmallows, of all things. They were "growing" in the field I was walking through. It was dark and I was with my kids. The marshmallows kept sticking to us so we couldn't leave. The marshmallows were about the size of small cars. My mind is ridiculous when I'm sleeping.

but suddenly I awoke, at least I thought I was awake and I heard my little girl Michelle say "mama, why did little Sparky die"
I answered "baby, he was old, tired and just couldn't go on anymore" she cried a little and clutched her doll to her chest. But somehow the doll looked alive and moving. Was I dreaming, was i awake or losing my mind? I looked around for answers.....

As I felt the fog of slumber clear my head I noticed that I was not in my own bed, nor was this my bedroom. The animated doll I had just seen clutched in my daughter's arms only moments before was now a full size figure walking toward me. My little one was nowhere to be seen.

The walking figure was only partly illuminated in the dark room. A motel no-vacancy sign shining through the thin drapes cast an eerie shadow across the floor. The figure suddenly stopped before crossing the dusty light beam.

It was still unclear to me whether I was still dreaming, or if something highly untoward happened to me while I slept. I breathed deeply as I was about to query the intruder as to its identity. The stale mildewed odor immediately reminded me of the cheap rooms that my father lived in while he was on the road. He told everyone he was a salesman, but I knew he was a professional gambler.

As I tried to speak, I found that I was no longer able to form any coherent words. I could only hear myself grunting and spitting as if my mouth had been numbed by a Dentist's needle.

The cloaked figure began to speak in a soft voice that was neither masculine nor feminine. In a tone that resembled a beautiful love song, it asked...

"are you awake now?' "Stay quiet for awhile, the peyotl spirits will presently appear and make everything lucid and clean" The Red flashing No-Vancacy sign took on new meaning as my faculties began to reestablish themselves and my awareness was able to realize that this wasn't a dream; it was a terrible reality that would determine the fate of my immortal soul. Last night, had a real difficult time falling asleep. Right when I was ready to let go something would get my attention. First was a knock at the door (nobody there because the security door usually slams when the neighbor goes to smoke or walks the dog). Next was some animal noises in my apartment (no pets, heck, don't have any plants either) and it was rather high pitched--like a bat. Then there were police lights (red-blue-white) which were not there. One was distinctly my coffee grinder being used. All very strange!

After that I fell asleep. Had one scene I don't recall then this one I do remember. I was somebody else and in a park (like a big park that had soccer fields, a foot ball field, and a baseball field. I went to the baseball field area because nobody was there. I went into a building running just behind the bb field and closed the glass door. I took my shirt off but it snagged on my arm. With my arm "in a sling" I look up to see if anybody was watching.

I see this large thing in the next doorway down. Then it stands up. That is when I notice it is a lion with this huge head slowly turning towards me. I slowly walk back to the door and open it while trying to free my arm. The lion takes up his pace a bit to a trot. I am backing away. In my dream I hit "fight or flight" as espy a fence and wonder if I can make it to the other side before I get caught.

That is when I wake up! Pure adrenalin pumping in me.

Horrible way to wake up! The best was when something in my dream made me laugh which was so funny I woke up laughing!

Before I begin, I'd like to say hello to all! I'm new to this forum!

Last night I had a frightening dream about an imminent flood. In the dream I was desperately trying to help build a dam and I was searching everywhere for a special piece that would complete the dam. When I finally found the piece that would fit perfectly, i woke up....

I remember trying to go back to sleep right after waking so that I could return and put this piece in place to save everyone.

I'm scared now!

I don't know how I knew this but I did and my conscientiousness recoiled in abject terror. I tried to focus on my situation....My name is Opal, I live in Denver, I am employed by Sears and I am in love with....

my beloved soulmate, my life partner, and my wife, Miriam. My daughter, Dawn, is the only blessing to come from a brief marriage to a man more in love with himself than me. But, John and I remain friends; if for no other reason that we share a deep affection for our little miracle.
Due to a serious automobile accident as a teenager, I sustained severe abdominal injuries and was told in no uncertain terms that I would never be a mother. Although I was devastated, I learned to accept this fact and moved on with my life.

After I graduated, I moved to Denver to start a new life and to try to forget this painful loss brought on by an adolescent indiscretion. It was my own fault; and it still haunted me.

I found a floor sales job at the local Sears store, and thus began my career with the century old retailer. One day a young bachelor, freshly graduated from law school, walked into the store looking to buy a microwave oven. There was an unmistakable chemistry between us and we started dating. After a year of seeing each other on and off we decided to get married. John was already a rising star at his law firm and had moved from his efficiency apartment into a small house.

A few months later we tied the knot and started our life together. Or so I thought. John's law firm was very generous and gave us a complete all expenses paid honeymoon to the Holy Land. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Middle East, but were exhausted when we returned home.

John was always a dedicated employee of his firm and he threw himself into his work when we got back. At first I thought nothing of it and accepted that he was a gifted attorney quickly moving up the ladder.

Within a few weeks of returning to Denver, I started feeling nauseous when I awoke in the morning. I was in denial about it until I started vomiting; every-single-day. I hid my illness from John because I didn't want to worry him. He already had enough on his plate, and he didn't need to be distracted by what I thought was probably some kind of stomach flu.

I made an appointment with a doctor assigned to me from my HMO insurance company. He was an older man. But he was very kind, understanding, and he had the patience of Job. He reviewed my medical history and gave me a cursory examination. He ordered blood samples and told me that his office would get in touch when the results came back.

About a week later his office called and made an appointment for me the next day. I was puzzled and afraid that they had found something in my blood tests. The nurse I talked to seemed to be quite anxious and insisted I come in as soon as possible. Even though I protested that it was going to be difficult for me to get time off from work, I was able to rearrange my work schedule and arrived early for my appointment the next morning.

I sat in the exam room, clad only in a paper dressing gown that I was told to wear after I disrobed. I felt myself trembling at the thought of some major illness that the nurses and staff didn't want to discuss with me after I arrived at the office. Soon Dr. Hillman walked into the exam room. But, in his ever-present infectious smile I found little comfort.

He picked up my chart and began leafing through the pages. “I see we got your blood test results back.” As he stared for a moment at what, for me, appeared to be indecipherable gibberish, his smile slowly faded and was replaced with a more puzzled look. “Okay, I want you to lie back and make yourself comfortable.”

This time his examination was much more thorough and included looking at EKG readings and an ultrasound investigation of my lower abdomen. In my mind, the change in Dr. Hillman’s demeanor and the thoroughness of this examination could only mean one thing; I was seriously ill.

I was now shaking uncontrollably with all sorts of scenarios running through my mind. Was it cancer? Was I going to need surgery? Is this disease terminal? How long did I have?

The doctor made a few final notes in my chart and slowly closed it. He placed the binder on the desk next to the computer and began to walk toward the door. “Okay. You can put your clothes back on.”

Just as he put his hand on the knob to open the door, I summoned my courage and asked him in a trembling voice: “Dr. Hillman, what’s wrong with me?”

He turned and looked me in the eye. Slowly his furrowed brow softened and his broad smile returned. His new demeanor eased my anxiety a bit, but nothing could prepare me for what he said next: “Congratulations. You’re pregnant.” He turned back toward the door and silently exited the room.

This is shaping up to be an interesting story. If you want to pursue it, perhaps we should move this to another forum. If not, it's been fun stimulating the creative juices.

Hi Xneen! Welcome to AboveTopSecret. It's always nice to welcome a new member to our little online family here. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your unique input to the Great Corpus of Conspiracy Knowledge that resides in this place.

I also hope you're able to finish your dream and get that crucial piece inserted in time.

Whatever you think best. You are obviously more experienced and articulate than I am. Your style is fantastic.
Do you write screenplays? That's really all Iv'e written mostly dialog. I really feel out of my element. I was just being a smartass by expanding on the others dreams. You have taken it to another level.

Last night's was...interesting, lol. First, we somehow knew Kate Mulgrew personally, and she moved into our spare room. Said something about Orange Is the New Black (never actually seen that show) being a poor choice, and started cleaning the kitchen like a live-in maid. No idea why, she just did.
The dream jumped from everyone making a meal (Breakfast? Brunch? Not sure) to suddenly hearing the deep reverb of helicopter blades. Next thing I know, we're all outside in a crowd of people watching this slick-looking helicopter circle the area, trying to find a place to land.
The street was suddenly the parking lot of a nearby park, and the helicopter lands in it. We're all watching, wondering who the F owns that bad boy, and someone pipes up "It's Vladimir Putin!" And he had a surprisingly warm welcome from everyone -- everyone was all WTF, but polite & friendly. He did this little meet & greet, and declared everything west of Lake Erie annexed XD

I literally woke up laughing at that. I don't think I've ever woke myself up laughing before

It looks like the basis for an interesting story. There's lots of opportunity for allegory, romance, and the paranormal. It addresses some current societal memes; such as same-sex-marriage and co-parenting. And so far I like the feel of building a female-centric main character set.

It sounds like an interesting project. But, I probably won't be able to spend much time on it right now. I've got a couple of other priority projects to finish.

I humbly accept your praise for my amateur writing style. It was actually my goal to try to write something that was sophisticated enough to continue your work. I haven't done any creative writing in many years. It just seemed really cool to jump on the dream-concept-expansion bandwagon.

I think you are being modest about your skills in writing. Like I said, I was just trying to keep up with you. But we appear to be a good team.

Clearly your imagination and creativity are on a par with the best.

I have been having a lot of dreams of wars, tsunamis and it being the end of the world. The one I had last night involved there being hardly any food and it looked like a bomb went off in the states. People were panicking and running all over, killing other people, hiding and trying to survive.

Then a few weeks ago I had a dream there was a really bad storm and for some reason I was near an ocean. Birds were flying again and a few people (including myself) walked out to see what in the world was going on. The waves started to get bigger and bigger, the ground was shaking and all of a sudden a GIANT ship came towards us on a giant tsunami. We all started to run into a building made of glass but we died because we couldn't outrun the wave. Then the waves just kept coming. Woke up a few seconds later terrified.

THEN before that dream I had another one about tsunami and it was by a town. Everyone was running but no one could escape.

Dreamt that my husband and I moved in to a Victorian home that we had just bought.

The top floor was exactly like one of our former rentals (a Victorian.) Went on to discover that there were 2 more floors down below that we had no idea existed. There was an additional kitchen, with 4 ovens (swoon!!) a few extra bedrooms and a couple living rooms, the place was massive.

After touring the place, realized I was late for work, like 2 hours late. In the dream my job was a couple of blocks away and knew I had better get there quickly. Walked out of the back door that led out directly to a patio area. There was a picnic bench in the back and my old boss, his wife and a couple former employees were there. (In real life I took my former employer to the labor board for some ridiculousness he try tried pulling with me, we are not on good terms, at all. They've been going around town telling people that my husband beats me, total lies but that's another story.) My old boss and his wife were upset that I was late. It was confusing because I knew my job was something else and had nothing to do with them anymore. Went back in to the house and they all followed me inside. They were complaining about how ugly the house was, it was not at all. It was beautiful, my dream home. So I kicked them out, literally, then woke up.

Pretty sure they were in my dream because of seeing the wife in real life the day before.

It was very a very vivid dream and a lot of fun exploring the home, up to the point of seeing those people.

I had an interesting dream the other night.I dreamed that I was looking out of a window
in a cabin out in the woods. It was dark and gray looking and in the distance I could see
a lone wolf walking across the yard.
I think that I attacked,or challenged, the wolf and then it turned into a bear.Shortly after
that it turned into a big-foot type creature with horns, then I woke up.

I've had some weird dreams lately myself.. One was with fairies, I was asleep in the grass and they made me shirt out of spun silver and decorated my hair with tiny jewels and silver chains.. it was wild and so beautiful.
The very next night I had a dream that I was walking alone in deep snow near a treeline, a pack of wolves ran by me chasing a deer which they brought down, but didn't kill. The sounds and scene was terrible to behold, I kept looking away but could hear the animal floundering and the wolves just waited.. It was awful and disturbing. No idea why I saw that in such detail, I am one of those that cannot watch scenes like that.
Then a day or so later I dreamed of King Kong (!?) he was trying to escape captors, saw me and howled in despair with a terrible pleading look, he scooped me up but was killed by military and as we fell I focused on these boots that he was wearing and he was knocked right out of them, the only thing left standing was the boots. Weird huh? No idea where that came from lol. Ah well.. sleep well friends

I dreamt last night I was holding hands with this girl Im infatuated with that I talk to often on the bus ride to work.

We're sitting next to each other on a park bench in our neighborhood. for some quiet reason we reach over and hold each others hands, then she wrapped her arm around me rested her head on my shoulder looked up at me and smiled. I held her tighter, snuggling up smiled back and then I woke up alone and feeling empty like I had just lost something amazing and wonderful.

Been thinking about it all day. Got out of the apartment walked around santa monica hoping to get my mind off her. Its midnight as I type this and shes still racing through my head and I cant sleep.

You need to man up make that dream come true for you...
Obviously this is something you want....
And have been too afraid to take a chance...
You are already a fool for her...
So what are you afraid of?
What you should be afraid of is not taking the chance...
I have a feeling she is also very interested in you...
You do not feel a connection to others for no reason and chemistry is real and powerful and also rare...
She could be the one...
