Ted Cruz wins Kansas caucuses
From the KC Star.

Oh my god.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz handily won the Kansas caucus on Saturday, hours after he and rival Donald Trump both stumped for votes in Wichita.

With two-thirds of votes counted across the state, Cruz had 51 percent of the ballots cast. Trump had 24 percent and Sen. Marco Rubio had 14 percent. Ohio Gov John Kasich had 9 percent.

Party officials called turnout across the state “incredible” in a statement.

Oh gawdy god.
See? See what we are battling here?

Our Governor is in cahoots with the likes of Cruz - both create incredible nausea in my person. I'd rather have Trump or Hillary even, than Cruz.

Still - not surprising, considering education is being defunded even as we speak.
Stupid state.
Stupid, stupid state is stupid.

Backward, stupid, and losing.

This Is What's the Matter With Kansas

Sam Brownback tried to create a conservative utopia. He created a conservative hell instead.

Which turned out to be a liberal hell also.
It doesn't work, people.

And this article (linked above) is from 2014.

READ THIS, Cruzers!

As Brownback ... explained to The Wall Street Journal, “My focus is to create a red-state model that allows the Republican ticket to say, ‘See, we’ve got a different way, and it works.’”

Brownback established an Office of the Repealer to take a scythe to regulations on business,

he slashed spending on the poor by tightening welfare requirements,

he rejected federal Medicaid subsidies and privatized the delivery of Medicaid,

and he dissolved four state agencies and eliminated 2,000 state jobs.

The heart of his program consisted of drastic tax cuts for the wealthy and eliminating taxes on income from profits for more than 100,000 Kansas businesses. No other state had gone this far.

I weep for this country.

This 'experiment' FAILED.

If any of you want to swap houses, so you can move here and live in Brownback's failed experiment, and love Cruz, I will consider it.

Depends on where you live. I won't go deeper south....no way, no how. OTOH, if any of you are in Seattle, Portland OR, or Denver, I'm all ears.
Straight swap - you get my house and property, and I take yours......
see how YOU like it!!!

"the fix is in"

The establishment candidates control the electoral apparatus.

Iraq could hold a more honest election right now than the USA could. We've become worse than a pissant 3rd-world regime.

Cruz easily wins Kansas Republican caucuses; Democrats tallying results

Many Republican voters sharply criticized the nasty tone of the campaign.

“It’s the most disgusting campaign I’ve ever seen,” said Debra Miner of Overland Park, who planned to vote for Trump. “I know it can get bad, but this is far beyond that. All of them.”

So sad that there are so many Kansans who lack a good education.

We're still in the Bible Belt. Of course he's going to win here.

As Colbert said: Texas, Texas Lite (Oklahoma), and Snow Texas (Alaska). Look to quality of education for the answers.

And it isn't funny.

Looks like Trump got Cruzified in Kansas.

Now what if Hillary wins Kansas?

Who would be the "dumber" voter?

Ummm lol really? With one of the best colleges in the US for tech and other things and you are trying to say it's because education. Ok....

People have a right to support a candidate

I can see the reasons to support Cruz much more than Trump!

I can see how Dems won't like this though

Trump nomination guaranteed them the presidency

If Cruz takes the nomination this crumbles

It's sickening. And I don't even like Trump. Oh hell, I'll just admit, I don't know how I feel anymore. I didn't want dirty tricks though.

Good for him, Cruz always had a lead in the Bible Belt states.

The funny part is people are starting to support Cruz solely to spite Trump, as evidenced by some of the posts I've been seeing lately.

I felt the same way when Obama won in 2008 and 2012. I have survived nearly 8 years and you will too.

What is funny is you are making fun of people for being stupid and you get your information from Colbert who is an entertainer. The irony is thick.
