Back in January the night we heard that Glenn Frey died, my house was in an uproar.
My brother-in-law practically bawling said "Damn seeing The Eagles was on my bucket list"

So my husband played his Hell Freezes Over DVD. And he realized we should've tried seeing them.
A few weeks go by and one night he says "The Who are coming to Boston, you better get tickets"
I like The Who, come on who doesn't?
So I reluctantly purchased the excessively high cost tickets to a show we'd have to travel to another state to see.
Great the concert is this Monday.
Which WTH is it with these concerts being during the freakin week and not the weekend?
Last year we saw Fleetwood Mac with the return of Christie McVie and that was a Tuesday.
Fleetwood Mac was top on my bucket list.

So I can check this one off my bucket list too.

The rest of my concert bucket list :
Prince
The Rolling Stones
P!nk
Jimmy Buffett
Sade
Basement Jaxx
Tom Petty
Aerosmith
Black Eyed Peas
Eric Clapton
Dire Straits
Elvis Costello

And repeat seeing ones I've already seen:
NIN
Ministry
Red Hot Chili Peppers
REM

I'd go to Oasis .... but I really haven't heard anything about them getting back together.

I forgot to add
House of Pain - they are playing St. Patty's day but I can't go.

Before, it was Rammstein too, but they came to Argentina in 2010 so I went to see them with my grandpa. It was amazing and we had a really good time.

Try holding your breath.
I'm pretty sure the comparison to the Beatles didn't help them.
Didn't they make a statement like "We're the next Beatles"

I have always wanted to see Dave Matthews live... unfortunately, I deployed or had to go TDY (temporary duty) every time he had a show I could catch nearby... last year, he was at The Gorge in WA state, and we had wildfires burning nearby and were afraid to leave... I will catch his show one day...

You've got to admit this guy's been consistent..

1978-2015 and the same windmill every night.

I wholeheartedly agree if you haven't seen the Who's present
incarnation do it quickly. I also hear the Hyde Park gig is
the last thing both Pete and Rog will do huge and outside...
so the days may be short one could see them at all.
Got to see The Who twice, once local at a tiny outdoor
club and in Chicago in a large theater. Never will forget them.
Clapton may peek out as well from retirement-- but good luck
getting in to see him in the US.

Yes I'd love to see Dave Matthews too.

I kept thinking of more so I'll add GreenDay & No Doubt to my list.

While I'll see some again, I've seen every band I "need" to see. My concert bucket list consists more of locations. I want to see a great live band (many options) at Red Rocks, some of the other impressive venues throughout the world, and one specifically, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers' "Circus Mexicus" weekend at Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point.)

The Who have great performances. We have a few concert DVD's but my husband loves the one where they bring out other artists. Bryan Adams, Noel Gallagher, & Eddie Vedder in The Who and Special Guests Live at the Royal Albert Hall (2000). I'm really looking forward to it.
It's the only reason I'd venture into Boston.
I really hate driving around there.

I wish I could afford to bring my son but the tickets are ridiculous.
He's 11 but with a very diverse taste in music.
If we ever make it to Tom Petty he's definitely going with us.

You know what? I misinterpreted the Original Post. I thought you wanted to know what bands I wanted chopped up and placed in a bucket. Sorry.

I LOVE Nickleback!!!!!!!!!!

When I was younger, I saw tons of bands! These days the prices of tickets are so ridiculous. If I get a ticket as a gift, I go, otherwise, no way!

I saw that motorhead were booked to play in my small town in the UK and had never seen them, I thought I should really go to this gig as I might not get another chance.

3 days later Lemmy died...

I have done a lot of my bucket list as I work at a lot of the big UK music festivals every year.

A couple I have yet to tick off the list though are

Tom Petty.

Bad Religion.

Someone told me the other day that there a rumours that the Yard Birds are reforming but I cannot see this happening.

Am possibly going to see Rick Astley later this year although maybe I should keep that to myself

I have only ever seen The Who once in concert. I still have the ticket stub and programme

Date 6th November 1967. Venue Birmingham Town Hall ( U.K.)

The set list:-

I Can't Explain
I'm A Boy
Boris The Spider
Pictures Of Lilly
I Can See For Miles
Substitute
Happy Jack
Run Run Run
A Quick One, While He's Away
Run Run Run
Summertime Blues
Shakin All Over
My Generation

Possibly the best concert i have ever seen. The Who without Moon and Entwistle are not The Who as i knew them.
