She better. But, she did serve as a U.S. Attorney under Bill Clinton. And she did support Hillary initially in 2008 and I'm sure she supports her now.

All eyes are on this investigation though. We will see if she can put her personal biases aside and do the right thing for the country. We're watching.

He was granted immunity?

What's the point of having any laws, if the government cant be held accountable.

Interesting, they believe they are so privilege that they can break any law they want, and thumb their middle fingers at the rest of us.

No wonder people are voting for Trump, they are hoping he can make a different's against a corrupt cabal.

I'm surprised she's even allowed to run for the dem nomination while this is over her head.

If she gets it and this falls on her... then isnt the party pretty much screwed?

Pagliano is not government, he was merely a staffer. He has information that the feds want.

Granting immunity to lower level personnel means they can no longer use the 5th amendment as protection and ensures cooperation in an investigation that may (or may not) reveal improper conduct by the actual target of the investigation.

Immunity in this case is a good thing.

I think we will soon see how 'persuasive' Hillary is with her staffers.
I can just hear her telling the prospective scapegoats how everything will be fine and they just need to follow her script.
If we see a few more accept immunity in exchange for testimony, then we will know just how solid the FBI's case is.

Something from the Washington Times.

But prominent legal scholar Jonathan Turley said the report, if true, is not good news for Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner.

Here is what Jonathan Turley had to say about it:

“DOJ does not give immunity without something valuable from a potential target like Bryan Pagliano. The situation just got more precarious,” tweeted Mr. Turley, a law professor at the George Washington University.

This article from December 2015 in Politico reminds us that Bryan Pagliano ... or someone did some email scrubbing on a government server.

The State Department has told Senate investigators it cannot find backup copies of emails sent by Bryan Pagliano, the top Hillary Clinton IT staffer who maintained her email server but has asserted his Fifth Amendment right and refused to answer questions on the matter.

State officials told the Senate Judiciary Committee in a recent closed-door meeting that they could not locate what’s known as a “.pst file” for Pagliano’s work during Clinton’s tenure, which would have included copies of the tech expert’s emails, according to a letter Chairman Chuck Grassley sent to Secretary of State John Kerry that was obtained by POLITICO.

The department also told the committee the FBI has taken possession of Pagliano’s government computer system, where traces of the messages are most likely to be found, according to the letter.

Edit to add: Maybe the information that Pagliano has relates to what person told him to delete emails from a government system?

even if she is indicted I`m sure a lot of her supporters will still vote for her.
reminds me of the democrat mayor of Washington D.C. (marion barry) who was convicted and sent to prison on drug charges. When he got out he ran for mayor again and was re-elected. It seems that a lot of people don`t care who rules over them.

Ties in with the question of Cheryl Mills retaining her top secret clearances because Hillary had her working on some "research" after they both exited the State Department.

Bet this guy Pagliano knows exactly what they were doing before Hillary was forced to turn over her system to the SD and the FBI.

If it becomes clear Hillary is not going to win the election she'll be sliced and diced in a heart beat.

It's also possible Hillary herself has immunity and maybe a few others.

they would never grant immunity to Hillary, she's the main malfeaser. the purpose of the investigation is (theoretically) to get her as she was in charge.

key player is Obama. if he owes the Clintons, or thinks well of them, nothing will come of this. if he decides he's had enough of Billary he will allow his DOJ people to follow the evidence.

he's willing to testify since he is in protective custody with immunity, right?

Not in protective custody at this time. Folks are calling for it however...
