Does your avatar bother people?

I don't mind really but a thread earlier involved the fact that my avatar was annoying to some members and also winks every 55 seconds or so.

There is a very good reason as to my avatar although somewhat redundant now in that I love the TV show Fringe and there was once a member with arms bigger than Jesse Ventura that formed a cult.

One thing led to another and a few people came together and before you know it this is my avatar.

I never meant for it to be this way but that is the way it is now.

That is all I have to say. There are a few avatars out there I also dislike but please people can we all not just get along?

Mine is simply the dark lord of the burning legion, all he has is an infinite army of demons, that have burned countless worlds at his command.

What's not to like about that?

I enjoy your avatar knowing it winks.

I never liked the long armed one at first. Then I realised the problem was all mine. I grew to love him. I miss him.

Readleader's annoys me. I don't know what it's saying.

Attacking someone's Avatar is ridiculous. I think when that occurs again, you need to re-read through the thread in question and see how many times you owned them.

I think your's is great, I think every members chosen Avatar is great.

No, its because that other thread got nixed…

Like book covers, avatars mean little, imo. The same when you meet people in public. They dress 'up', wear make 'up', fix 'up' their hair, are upwardly mobile, drive fancy cars, thats not what they look like inside.

Avatars are Icons, my mood is iconoclastic. Geez what a party pooper…

I've never thought about it.

I think it might annoy someone if they are annoyed at the person as our avatars are all they see of "us".

No one has ever had an avy that bothered me, so long as it was within T&C (im a bit of a prude on my computer due to my job).

I have only recieved 1 complaint, for this one that i used for Christmas a few years ago:

I had my own pic removed as I was showing a middle digit and it was deemed rude but hey that's the rules.

Not much disturbs me, but even I find something disturbing about that one....... I sure as hell wouldn't demand a "safe space violation" but yea, that picture is strange....
