Perhaps ONE of the BETTER metal groups, but certainly not the greatest, and we havent yet heard anyone else from out in our solar system.

How old are you, anyway? I mean respectfully speaking of course..."cause there are a ton of other metal groups out there...so if you just stopped listening after them......well.....

Motley doesn't even make the top 25 lists I've read. But that's ok, because that's part of what music/art is about. Personal taste. You like it. That's what counts.

Me personally. I would have to agree with "alldaylong". Sabbath would be my pick for the crown.


ETA: I think Samantha Maloney drummed with the Crue for a while. She's good with the sticks.

I've actually noticed a lot of rock/glam rock being classified as metal nowadays. Kind of takes away from the real metal bands.

Motley Crue was glam rock coc aine binge that pretended to be metal. Have you heard of the big four? They were metal before crue put on their eyeliner.
