A telling quote from Farage on the EU referendum

On the claim that the UK leaving the EU would cause a shock throughout the global economy:

This is a case of mates helping each other out. Big banks, big business, big government all scratching each other's backs. I don't think that impresses voters, and I think voters are realistic enough to see that the world is changing fast and that Europe is declining

On the surface it is more political rubbish but if you read between the lines there is a strong message there. He is basically calling on people to ignore the smoke screens and mirrors and vote for themselves. But there may not be a point. If the global elite want the UK in the EU then that is how it shall remain. I have not met or spoke to one single person who wants to remain. This is no edge of the seat close run thing. If the end result is a vote to stay in the EU then I would bet my next year's salary that it is a farce at best and a complete lie and fix at worst.

Somebody sure doesn't like him based on the assassination attempt last year.

there was a story that someone had tampered with his wheel nuts. Hardly a professional way to kill someone I'm sure you'd agree.

Hmmm, this is weird, I remember reading about it at the time and the story said that the lug nuts had been loosened.

Nigel Farage: I made a 'terrible, terrible mistake' over assassination attempt claims

Not sure what to think.

Drugs in his pint would seem easier but I'm still waiting for the OP to provide the quote as stated in the thread title...

Conflicting reports it would seem. It is RT but, it seems to quote both French authorities and Farage himself.

Sabotage? Police suspect foul play in Farage assassination attempt

Police told Farage the wheels had been deliberately tampered with, suggesting a deliberate attempt on his life.

“The French police looked at it and said that sometimes nuts on one wheel can come a bit loose – but not on all four,” Farage said.

It's entirely possible his vehicle was tampered with. But that sounds more like your average Joe who doesn't like him trying to take an opportunity rather than some political scandal. Unless there was a man on the grassy knoll with a torque wrench.

Crap OP then if you are claiming something but have nothing to back it up aside from "I saw it on TV" lol.
I'll leave you to it if that's all you haven't got...

Why would I need something to back it up as if I had made out he announced life on Mars or something? What? Was a huge debate suddenly going to erupt between the two of us because you had happened to read the same short paragraph elsewhere as well? Like I said if you would prefer I can video the interview and post the video on here. It's hardly a sensational headline I am trying to make up it is a simple quote.

I gave you a star though as I presume those are what you seek?
