Even though Trump is the GOP front runner the establishment is still throwing everything including the kitchen sink at him to try and railroad him out of the election.

IMO both Trump and Sanders should give a big middle finger to both parties and go third party.

Who here would vote for a Trump/Sanders card?

Can't we just make Trump President of the Moon and send him away?

If Hillary becomes President, I think I'll join him.

I would. That would be unstoppable.

We'd really make America great again.

On the PLUS side...if Trump becomes President, Al Sharpton leaves the country.

Of the two, clearly Bernie represents the minorities, they just don't know it.

What are you, their parents or something, telling them what's best for them? They're too stupid to figure it out for themselves?

How "minorities" put up with this kind of condescension is beyond me.

That's because SC voters are "Low Information Voters" who wouldn't even understand and don't give a damn about what Sanders is saying. It's not like you have a high percentage of college graduates who have at least been exposed to Sanders' ideas, like in New Hampshire.

And UNFORTUNATELY, that's how these elections are won. There would be a whole lot of argument if only the sharpest knives in the drawer got to vote, but that's not what is happening. You only approve of "democracy" when you can get the "LIVs" on your side; otherwise, it sucks.

It is more likely the voters understand EXACTLY what Sanders is peddling and just said 'no thanks'. Most sane people don't want his big Government and higher taxes.

Why do I feel like secession is soon to be a hot topic again?

I mean exactly what I said: "What happened?"
Bernie Sanders was surging; growing stronger and stronger...and then...pfffft!..it's as if he never existed.

Well it blows my mind too but Hillary has a following and unfortunately we are seeing that here. Bernie has been getting stronger and stronger, but hey you can't win them all.

.....and the voting public will not be kind to Hillary if she ever gets the gumption to release the transcipts of her paid speeches to Wall Street.

Someone quoted you before you posted it...whoa.

I'm not convinced until one of the candidates reaches 2400 delegates. The fight's not over until then.

Here's some numbers;
In 2008 530,000 voters turned out for the Democratic primary.
In 2016 367,000 voters turned out for the Democratic primary.
There are nearly 3 million registered voters in South Carolina.

Again, 2,382 delegates are needed for the nomination. Clinton has 544 (453 super delegates), Sanders has 85 (20 super delegates). There are still 4,304 delegates to be decided. Super Tuesday will decide 865 delegates.

It sucks for Sanders, but we knew that it would. The campaign knew it would happen. We're going to move on and fight until there's a winner at the convention.

Well It looks like the best we can hope for now is that nothing changes at all, and BS politics just continues as it has. See if they give a damn whether you live or die or anything else as long as the money keeps rolling in.

I had some sort of bug where my first post wasn't showing up for me, it just sent me to a blank page with infinite page numbers. So i posted it again then voila, I seen the original on the page before so had to change it so it wasn't a double post.

Time travelers but they really should have gone back and erased their mistake by now. Maybe they died laughing at the craziness of this thread.

This is exactly it. The Sanders campaign did early polling in SC and realized that most people had made up their mind well before the election so they weren't going to expend a lot or resources on simply closing the gap. They need to win and are focusing on more competitive states.
