No reason why he should. He doesn't name anybody else either.
"Paul getting the gospel from Christ" is the topic of a different thread, and that's where it needs to be discussed.

Actually, he had every reason to. Jesus never told the Apostles about a new apostle so he would have given a sign that he approved of Saul. He didn't because he didn't approve.

He doesn't name the Apostles, but he mentions that there are only twelve Apostles in the New Jerusalem vision.

So we know Paul is not an Apostle because Jesus says that there are only 12. That makes him a liar.

Would Jesus have us follow a liar?

You are the one who claims he had no reason to mention Paul when he really did have every reason. Don't make silly statements if you don't want them commented on.

Expect Pauls Apostleship to be challenged in every thread you create about his teachings. Just as you apparently think its your ministry to teach what he has written as the word of God, we also view it as our ministry to make sure his teachings are seen for what they truly are, a manipulation by Rome to create a Religion that can control as many people as possible. And wow its still working 2,000 years later!

You are leading people astray, you are teaching doctrines that did not come from Jesus. What you are teaching comes from the hand of Paul. Just because he writes a good story for Rome, doesnt mean it was the truth then or now.

I was like you at one time, and would have died to hang on to my faith. But, in my quest for knowledge, I discovered who Paul really was, and how his teachings create Religion, not a relationship. His teachings led millions into the arms of the Catholic Church. Once I understood that he was educated by Rome and worked for Rome, and I took a good look at the historical context of his teachings as they mimicked the popular belief systems at the time, I have been free to have a relationship on a spiritual level with no Religious BS to filter it through.

Ditch the writings of Paul, concentrate on the old texts, especially the ones that were left out of the canon of scripture. And yes, I know I was already scolded for bring up the Canon of Scripture and its unholy beginnings. If the foundation is bad the whole building is rotten.

If you really want to teach Paul, you should find a Christian Based Website, where you wont be challenged by "thinking" well informed people. The already brainwashed folks might be your best place to try out your sermons. Notice that your not getting many replys from people who would agree with you?

There is no reason why it should be if the topic of the thread is the meaning of what is being said.
I rest on the standard rule which operates across the entire site; the topic of a thread is defined by the title and the opening post, and that is what is discussed on that thread.
I place a particular value on it because I am aware that de-railing threads by driving them off-topic is a standard practice of the anti-religious trolls.
I refer you to the sticky thread on this forum authored by one of the mods; "Going beyond Religion 101".

If you really want to teach Paul, you should find a Christian Based Website

I am already here, on the Religion, Faith, and Theology forum of this site.
The forum was established so that people could talk about religion, faith, and theology. The clue is in the title. That is what I am doing.
I am not going away.

Fair enough. This has all been debated. I shall leave you to resume your teachings. It will be hard not to "speak up" and warn people about the EVIL Saul/Paul of Taursus when I run across your Religious threads.

I am a non-Religious Christian, so your right I probably have no business being here. Freedom from Religion has been a huge blessing to me, its hard not to want to share the joy and wake people up to the truth.

P.S. If you really want the teaching of Jesus, there will be threads on the teaching of Jesus coming after Easter.

We always resolve our conflicts very Christian like. I know from debating with you in the past that you love the Lord. And I need to be more respectful of that.

In my opinion a lot of what is written by Paul has been a distraction from developing the kingdom within. I think a lot of true believers waste too much time dissecting his teachings hoping for the hidden meanings and jewels of truth that they are not going to find from a false teacher.

We are coming into a time, where we may have to depend on listening to the Shepards voice. Its critical that we exercise our gifts and our faith. Fine tune the intuition. That is how the Holy Spirit speaks to us. Pay attention to the signs around you. The creative energy around you and in you, is God. In all and through all. Let that speak to you let that lead you. Yes their are spiritual beings all around us. If we are to survive the up coming revolution between good and evil, we better learn to exercise the discernment of spirit.

I worry that the prophets that should be born in this generation, have been hijacked by Religion and when the time comes for them to step into leading people into the wilderness, they will have been brainwashed by the words of Paul, . instead of cultivating the spirit that lives within.

Religion is part of the maze mankind runs to keep him from seeing the full picture.

I will move along now.

Paul in this letter is opposing the expectation of obedience to the details of the Law (such as the demand for circumcumcision, the refusal to associate with the uncircumcised), etc. In other words, he is opposing legalism. If you claim that he supports it, you are only demonstrating your ignorance of what the word means.

Thank you - That was well explained to my understanding. It reminded me of Paul confronting Peter as Peter was in error in his favoring Jews above Gentiles.

Paul confronted Peter about being a Gentile in front of Gentiles and a Jew in front of Jews, hypocritical coming from the man who said " I have become all things to all men."

Peter was nothing but nice to the gentiles. Show me otherwise. I guess you don't like the Apostles but Peter was innocent of what Paul allegedly rebuked him over. Probably the reason his reply isn't recorded.
