Marriage is a lifelong commitment. A prerequisite for a strong healthy family for your children, marriage is the hardest right in reproductivity. I laugh as I write this because it seems like something that doesn't need explaining.

Leftists, liberals, commies, polygamists, etcetera are inclined to swing partner to partner, have multiple marriages, cheat on each other, never swear on vows, multiple partners etcetera.

Of course that ain't always true. People get divorced for real good reasons such as a partner turned out to be abusive, criminal or mentally unstable.

If you're a Republican looking to connect with other Republicans don't go lookin' around the whore house.

Or, if you're unhappy with said partner you have the option to relinquish them from you life. Maybe you get married and find out your partner gets off by purposely try to pish you off, that they'r pathological liars, or they simply want you for your money and not your heart. People even betray commitments on whim like they're nothing.

Marriage simply isn't held to the same standard like so many years ago. Can be stuck in the past now can we? Thing is, feelings change. People change. Systems change. Everything changes.

I'm not going to pretend like I know who your talking about but personally I believe there is no such thing as a 'real' republican. The whole system is spiraling down the toilet.

There is no right.

There is no left.

There is only a stage.

You're in the audience.

Parents fail to instill an understanding of what an oath is in their children. There are some groups of people who are pretty good about keeping up with the old ways. It's becoming rare to run across them these days.

The wife and I crossed the 32 year mark just this month. Yeeha Baby!!

I came in thinking this was going to be some kind of satire & am terrified to see that this is someone's actual opinion?

Not a republican, but married to the same person for almost 30 years.

Love and commitment doesn't have a political ideology.

No point in getting married more than once when you can screw the whole country anytime.

True. This wouldn't even fit into the mud pit because it belongs on Twitter, etc.

Don't forget Congressman David Vitter, who was caught in a prostitution scandal, wasn't charged w/a crime because the statute of limitations had expired, and still got reelected.

OP, has it occurred to you that you've been duped? Many people in power will pander to whatever demographic they can in order to get elected/reelected. Perhaps they never shared your values and you simply think they did?

Oh my...where to begin. I shall provide a list of "Real" Republican's who not only faltered in their marriages but managed to get caught being Gay. Not just being Gay but many who were very vocal opponents of Gay Marriage

globalgrind.com...

I guess Gay doesn't count though huh since when these guys were caught with their pants down Gays were not allowed to marry

I wish I could multiple star your post.

Only add:
No moral character
No difference between right and wrong
No laws

But of course that falls under the first one : no moral character

I still can't figure out why people don't see religion for what it is.

I've been in a long term monotonous relationship and it's funny, we are always the happiest couple in the group of our miserable married friends. They all act defeated.

Why is that?

I can't even comment on the partisanship angle, that makes no sense.

I believe you have just proposed the "No True Scotsman" logical fallacy.

When you said "If you're a Republican looking to connect with other Republicans don't go lookin' around the whore house"

Instead of whorehouse did you actually mean congress?
