If they weren't deliberately targeted then given the number that have been hit in Russian / Syrian strikes their air force is either really unlucky or dangerously incompetent.

I don't think they're accidental and see the reasoning behind what they're doing.

This isn't about who has killed what in bombing raids its about the sheer hypocrisy of the wining Western Allies with the USA because Russia has joined in independently and is doing a better job than that lot put together have done for all the time they were left alone to deal with the situation. Boo Hoo.

Anyone can raise a pis..g contest for who has done how many deaths and because of the contest its taking away the human tragedy that all this warmongering has caused to people's lives.

Tax payers in the USA and the Allied countries have a right to ask how come its only now that the Russians have arrived that there is any sign of progress? How much money has been wasted on useless strategy or precious little strategy at all and what about an estimate of the damage done in the ME by this unholy alliance?

Nobody in truth asked for their country to be invaded and all its infrastructure destroyed or the casualties. Iraq didn't, Libya didn't, Afghanistan didn't and Syria certainly didn't. All we have been told is that some rebels didn't like their governments and wanted arms to start getting rid of their Head of State.

Heaven help us were someone to return the favour to us because were American citizens to decide to rebel to turn up against Obama or some of the Western leaders countries - Oh yes they have actually in Europe, they are flooding in but I would love to see some of our leader's faces.

Very true, it's a puzzle where pieces fit together and with others that don't fit so the whole puzzle can't be put together at all.

Eliot Higgins (born 1979), who previously used the pseudonym Brown Moses, is a British citizen journalist and blogger, known for using open sources and social media . en.wikipedia.org...

While the man behind the British online investigative group Bellingcat, Eliot Higgins, has been “exposing” Russia’s military missions and alleged propaganda, RT decided to meet the man in person. Apparently, the “expert” preferred to duck and cover. www.rt.com...

15 minutes of fame over? Elliot Higgins, aka Bellingcat, is being debunked all over internet by real experts and scientists redpilltimes.com...

We start with an excellent comment from user “damien” from Moon of Alabama that sums up the ridiculous, and staged, attention the western MSM pays blogger Elliot Higgins, aka Bellingcat…

Charles Wood, an expert in digital images and metadata, takes issue with Higgins’s treatment of image data. A Russian blogger NTV makes similar objections. And a Dutch blogger provides credible evidence that Higgins has himself been faking his key photographs.

In relation to MH17 Russia Insider blogger Byzantium provides an outstanding survey of all the key evidence issues, in the process further discrediting Bellingcat.

The BUK missile system’s manufacturer Almaz-Antey gets into the picture. The company had been the subject of European sanctions over the use of its missile on MH17 and appealed to the European Court of Justice:

On the strength of a technical study of the aircraft damage Almaz-Antey claims MH17 was shot down by a BUK missile of a type not made in Russia since 1999.Almaz-Antey claims the BUK was launched from near the settlement of Zaroschshenskoe, which is in the area where the Russian satellite imagery show a Ukrainian BUK missile launcher present on the day of the tragedy.

Almaz-Antey rules out on technical grounds any possibility of MH17 having been shot down by a BUK missile launched from Snizhnoe, which is the theory favored by those who say MH17 was shot down by the militia.

Meanwhile Higgins has been adopted as an expert by the Atlantic Council and is one of the coauthors of a key anti-Putin report by the Council leadership which was published on May 28. Higgins is described as “a Visiting Research Associate in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London”. The Council also sponsored him on a trip to Ukraine.

You have to ask why this amateur is given this level of political prominence. Blogger Deep Resource identifies some of his backers.

Bellingcat aka Elliot Higgins is nothing more than a simple charlatan. This guys 15 minutes are way over. Let’s move on to the real experts and pros in order to finally uncover the MH17 coverup.

Via Moon of Alabama from a post entitled, “Media’s Beloved “Expert” Eliot Higgins – Wrong Again And Again And Again“…

Interesting article, Ive read the so-called debunk but all it does is prove or trying to prove that the photographer is a fraud. To say Higgins is a fraud because of that picture is just rubbish to be honost, most of the things he did you can verify yourself and the MH17-project is just one of many and that picture is just a tiny part of their investigation.

Also this is RT... not the most objective source, especially in this particular case. It starts by calling him a so-called expert, when he has never claimed to be an expert and it is widely known Bellingcat started as a hobby.. So it already starts very subjective and trying to portray him in a negative way.

Nowadays he is just one of the many bloggers on Bellingcat and if you read up on there methods it doesnt seem like theyre all frauds in on a conspiracy. Theyre amateurs that have put in many many hours, one even learning arab, to connect dots through social media. That they make mistakes is inevitable but the articles Ive send here are pretty spot on if youd ask me.

Leaving aside the MH17 we could go to his chemical weapons piece and put together another failed attempt to make claims that were untrue .In his version the rebels were the good guys until it was proven that it was the rebels themselves . after you get a few strike against you people start to take notice .Then if you cant recover from that you go silent or move on . I hadn't seen his stuff on the boards for some time now so when you provided a source link the bells went off .

Here you go ..someone reporting on cluster bombs and who makes them and who is using them as well as where they are using them

Wonder why they aren't discussing Russian use of cluster munitions?

That's right it's RT reporting on this.

Problem is they can refute the evidence he has brought forth...that's why he is called a fraud by a few.

Like I said . That vid is a stitched up compilation it seems to me . If you were to replace the part showing the Russian jet with a Balloon from Yemen you could blame it on the Yemeni people . Now if you had some evidence like was gathered in that other vid of the Saudi's cluster bombs in Yemeni with the American identification on it like they also found in Syria you might have a hard time blaming Russia .Much like all of the refugees that fled the country also started way before Russia entered the conflict . People were being cluster bombed and fled the country before Russia showed up .....cant leave that part out either .....

Another? Where the MH17-piece is already a very subjective piece not proving what it claims it does.. That was hardly a strike, but you made me curious: post it so we can go there?

No they can refute 1 picture out of 100s.. one that is apparantly photoshopped, in very convincing manner, by the photographer that send him that picture. How is that proof of him being a fraud?

Also the refuting is done by someone who is on the Russians side, which is obvious from the article itself. And the refuting is very questionable. Amongst others he traveled to the location where the picture was taken, the locals explained it was taken by a photographer who supported the Ukrainian government (wrong side they say) and then he is taken to the roof where it supposedly was taken. On that roof he says there arent any cables in view so it must have been photoshopped, he then turns around and the whole roof is covered with the same kind of cables... Anyway doesnt really matter because all he tries is to refute 1 phote out of 100s.

So does the offical MH17 report say or show that someone did it ? And if so who ? That may be better left to another thread to bring in all sides to look at it .

Please stay on topic and avoid ad hominems. The Syrian representative to the UN has admitted that Assad's forces have been targeting hospitals. Why should Russia be any different? After all, the Geneva Conventions are not binding on non-state actors, as the George W Bush administration made clear.

Oh my! You really aren't serious as there are more than enough witness accounts and video accounts of Russia using cluster bombs in Syria...to deny that would be a fallacy.

Now if you had some evidence like was gathered in that other vid of the Saudi's cluster bombs in Yemeni with the American identification on it like they also found in Syria you might have a hard time blaming Russia .

Ah yes the old it is Americas fault because they sold them to Saudi Arabia...always love that defense.

Now how about the fact that the weapons used are only used by the Syrian government and supplied by Russia in this conflict.

But more importantly the two types of rocket used - a Russian-supplied 140mm system and especially the larger 330mm weapon of unknown origin - are significant since according to both Human Rights Watch and a number of independent arms experts - these are weapons that have only been observed in use by Syrian government forces during this conflict.

That wasn't what that report was for as it wasn't the criminal investigation which is either happening now or I assume will happen in the future.

A final report by the board is not expected until mid 2015. The Netherlands is also running a separate investigation into the possibility of criminal charges against suspected culprits.

Going of on an errand to find indisputable proof in this subject is a fools task because it doesn't exist , any evidence provided will be disputed so what would be the point ?
People on this site always ask to be provided with evidence but rarely bother to provide it themselves.
