Boggling how little of it is actually relevant to the OP.

Agreed... Although, I've really enjoyed reading this thread.

if this isnt in the right place please move.

i recently reread the essential golden dawn an introduction to high magic by chic cicero and sandra tabatha cicero, while a good book it only gives you acouple basic spells and prayers.

can anyone recommend me good books with this kind of stuff in them/

All humans are sources of power.
When I laugh with joy my fellows
might laugh. In essence I let unfold
a spell.

To name a practice magic as what
you are carrying out is an admittance
that you know not what you do yet
you believe what you do will work.

You want to influence the world
around you and bend it to meet your
demand. What you want is out of
your practical reach.

So as you turn to sorcery you
accept that in order to get prime
effects you should know what you
do and you should know what
happens.

That knowledge is known. You
won't find it under the label of
magic. The known processes are
extensively researched and
undressed of all mysticism and
confusing metaphor. Science has
brought that knowledge to light
and all drama and imaginative
guesswork of the serious mage
muted beneath the scientists
power. You won't find that
knowledge in a book, drifting
through cyberspace or in practice
within any society secret or public.

We know what we do and our
powerful grasp on this matter
continuously grows while we
collect new data on our research.
You would like to call it magic
because you don't understand it.
We don't refer to our research as
magic either.

But brother! did you ever exercise your own free will, outside of any group or church, and ASK GOD for the truth?

Is that your way of asking me if I ditched Christianity before I was a Mason? The answer is 'yes'. Long before.

Just because I do not believe in the mythology of Christ does not mean I do not believe in God.

Christianity, and the like, are obsolete.they serve little purpose and those that consider them such are liars and do not follow the faith, as most truly live under the guide of the Satanic Bible without ever having read it.

Question. Are you at all open minded? See I am open to your inquiries even the mentions of your god, though it'd do us both good if you secularized this discussion to be fair, but you carry on against Satanism without a single shred of understanding what it is. If you are truly open minded I suggest reading the first 72 pages.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the second group of Christians which are the actual believers, but tend towards ignorance.

I have read the Satanic bible so what are getting at.......how the book teaches one to be an asshole because that is exactly what it teaches.

Me Me Me Me Me....... yeah I get the picture.....

Knock yourself out..... not for me.

Let me give you a tip......if you think Christians are wimps and always run from fear and attacks then come knock on my door and threaten me and watch what happens.

The Satanic Bible teaches respect...and love for those that deserve it...maybe you didnt read it critically. Can we return to the OP topic

Is that a threat.

In response to the OP, I do have a voodoo book. Hmm, I'll try to find the title. It is actually pretty interesting, though I've only briefly read it.

EDIT: Funny find. On bn.com (barnes and noble) there is an occult book for 6.66$

Can't find the title. Will be able this weekend if anyone's interested.

I had one when I was a kid called Who Do Voodoo? You Do! which supposedly contained all these 'legitimate' spells. I cannot find the book online but it was hilarious with some of the actions it wanted you to take.
