Now Boris has his majority lets hope he pushes for a Canadian style trade deal or No Deal.

Fingers up to Millar and the other remainster traitors to the peoples will.

We're almost there, friend.
The traitors have been been decimated.
We still need to get over the final hurdle - which is holding Johnson's feet to the fire to get this done with no quarter given to the EU in the trade negotiation.
Boris should now move ahead swiftly with the US/UK trade agreement. He should look to attach the UK to the USMCA. Have something in place prior to the end of 2020 and reject ANY move by the EU to limit our ability to enter into any trade terms we want with other countries. No restrictions.
Concur!

Its been a pleasure mate! Just all goes to show that the British Lion only sleeps and wakens when necessary.
What BREXIT has shown is that Parliament is not what it should be or how it should function in the will of the people and be directed as such by the people! Boris, although a Tory is in my view a true hero of the people respectful of the loan of votes and his speech which referred to such as something different and I like the putting into law the funding and protection of the NHS.

He will go down as a great! And will be respected as the ONE who respected democracy and the will of the people who enable us to escape the clutches of the EU and when the EU project finally collapses we will be OK!

Where are the non respecters of the people, their wishes and their democracy that was hard fought for in the fields on England!! i.e. Millar etc etc etc etc etc

Boris did the right thing in respecting the People's Vote (the real one, not the fake anti-democratic proposal pushed by those trying to undermine democracy), but so did a lot of other people do the right thing, including you and many others.

As citizens we can only make our arguments and then when election time comes use our voice.
Any individual who stood up for democracy played their part in rescuing this country - even if that effort was only a tiny fraction of the overall effort that won the day.

Ever since 1911 it has been impossible for the Lords to block the Commons indefinitely. So the only problem here is the short deadline.
If I were in the government's place, I would accept the amended bill for the moment, and then get a supplementary bill through the Commons which would reverse the amendments. The supplementary bill would pass automatically after a period of time, but I'm not sure what that is under current law.

You will have seen that the Lords have now given way anyway.

Yes I see. The power of large majorities when you want to implement things/change.
