Alien: Covenant...And more!

Its official! Not 1 not 2, nor 3 BUT 4!!!! Alien/ Prometheus movies are set to be released in the near future by the master mind Ridley Scott.
We can expect to see the next film in the Prometheus franchise originally titled Alien: Paradise lost, which has been officially renamed
to Alien: Covenant, In 2017.

Mr. Scott is planning on answering the question in his upcoming screen plays "Why the Alien? Why did the engineers create this unstoppable killing machine in the first place?"

In related news we MIGHT get some Xenomorph action as early as October of this year. Directed by Neill Blomkamp with his adaptation of the Alien - It takes place after Alien 2. But ive also read from another source claiming a release date of Oct. 2017. Neill has also stated that theres no way will he release his movie at the same time as Scotts.
Blomkamp has done amazing work with District 9 and Chappie. An with Scott producing Neills movie - its sure to be a mega hit.

Confirmed

There were rumors circulating that Neill was going to in a sense, totally erase alien 3 and 4. But he said thats not his intention. He just enjoyed the first 2 movies the most and that he will still keep everything cannon.
His movies timeline takes place immediately after Alien 2. So i guess that means its pretty close to a being continuation of the film.

I dont think this is the Official site - but its pretty good in fulfilling your alien cravings in the meantime.

way overhyped and dragged out. ridley scott used to be a good director, now he's falling behind the time. casting white people for egyptians... this isn't the 80's anymore.

Well if your no longer a Scott fan you can rest assured for a great experience with Blomkamps work for Alien 5.

This is awesome. Prometheus was very good, especially if you read about the meaning behind all of the specifics of the movie.

More excited to see Blomkamp's version, that should be awesome. I saw blade runner is also getting a sequel.

If Hicks and Newt are still gonna die, then it's still going the wrong way.
