Reality check, if these refugees wanted to fight Assad they would already be fighting and not escaping the conflict

Fight with what ?

Sticks & Stones ?

Yes, the same "sticks & stones" that FSA and other "moderate" rebels in Syria are using.

Please don't act so stupid to hide behind a flawed argument

Refugees had not got any weapons that would enable them to put up a viable resistance thus they became refugees .

Whether you like it or not , that is going to change .

Your idea is based on what ?

Syrians can't / won't fight for their homes and their lives , is that it ?

Stereotype much ?

Funny
The FSA manage to arm themselves (with help from the US)
The various other rebel groups manage to arm themselves
The Kurds manage to arm themselves
Hezbollah can arm themselves
ISIS can arm themselves

but apparently these Syrian refugees can't find any weapons in a region where an AK47 is probably cheaper than a loaf of bread

Okay, it's obviously stereotype and not logic

Barrell bombs vs AK47's , eh ?

I would love to see you try and succeed in defending your home & life & liberty in a similar situation.

AK47 vs Syrian Army is a flawed logic indeed .

I wouldn't recommend anyone to try it .

So first it's they can't get any weapons, to now they can't defend against barrel bombs...

FSA is still holding up against barrel bombs and they've obviously got no anti air weaponry, same with ISIS otherwise we'd have heard of aircraft getting shot down.

Could the reality just be that these refugees don't want to fight which is why they're running away ? And the ones who do actually want to fight are the ones actually there doing the fighting ?

I disagree with the sentiment that these refugees don't want to defend & protect themselves against an enemy.

It's all down to weaponary and the armament available besides if there was a no fly zone in Syria then Europe would have not had these many refugees .

Sorry but that's just bull#

Assad was losing ground until Russia stepped in to help, those refugees had plenty of time to take up arms if they really wanted to, it didn't stop any of the other rebels so why make excuses for those that chose to run instead of fight ? As evidenced by the FSA if the people want to fight then they will fight, it's got nothing to with weaponry or none existent no fly zones but all about having the will to fight.

You can disagree all you want but the FSA proves that you're wrong

unfortunately turkey is in NATO.

And if Turkey starts something they are on their own.

NATO has the obligation of helping if Turkey is attacked...they don't have that obligation if Turkey does the attacking on their own.

NATO = Defense not Offense.

The time for Turkey to invade or anyone else on a major scale has just all but passed.

From everything I have gathered Russia is committed to stop any advances by Turkey or anyone else for that matter... they have not been sitting on their hands these last few months but have aggressively preparing to win this conflict along with their latest allies.

Pretty good breakdown of some of the Russian preparedness

Seems they have Stingers or IGLAs as well

So what's the excuse for the refugees not fighting ? Apart from them apparently not being very efficient with the AA weaponry

Blondes are more fun? Fight in Syria and maybe get killed or be in Germany having fun and running amok. Yeah that's a real tough choice... let me think about it for a moment.

Turkey will not invade Syrian lands to attack the Kurds, but the Turks will attack the Kurds by Aircraft/Artillery from the Northern Border of Turkey on Kurd dominated territory... even as the Turks try to keep open a supply line/ roadway corridor to aid all the Anti-Assad sects of Muslim fighters (including IS/ISIS/ISIL/Daesh)

That is the mission of the Turks within the Saudi-Gulf States operation of Northern-Thunder, to keep the north frontier of Syria under pressure as the Sunni invasion of Syria overwhelms the southern borders of Syria with anti-Assad & anti-Shia Muslim fighters... a Pinchers Movement strategy used many times throughout history

Along with the sides-of-battle being formed we have the USA siding with the Sunni dominated Arab Coalition which could very well be the end-times 'King-of-the-South' we find in Daniel who gets overwhelmed by the 'King-of-the-North' also in Daniel end-times which is the combined forces of Russia/Iran/Syria/ several factions of Shia from Gaza & Lebanon...

the bigger picture is that Persia/Iran wants to be the Regional Caliphate
whereas Turkey wants to rebirth the Ottoman Empire
additionally Russia wants to recapture the Eastern Orthodoxy (Greek & Russian) capital of Christianity at Hagia Sophia in present day Istanbul since AD 1453 Constantinople

there's a lot going on over there in the former Selecuid Empire lands, which was warned of in prophecy...as the 'Syrian' to beware of

Northern Thunder is a Saudi Allied training mission taking Place right now.

What this looks like according to their drills. It seams as Saudi either have plans opening a corridor through Jordan or up North through Iraq.

A few weeks ago the US sent a ambassadors to Jordan. Probably to establish a deal on behalf of the Saudies and their Allies probably to create a corridor. Jordan is also part taking in the Northen Thunder.

Russia are also doing a large scale patrol mission With their SU 27SM3 around the clock along the Jordan boarder.
