Got it: it's okay for Syria to bomb hospitals because the Saudis do it too. Or are you just trying to change the subject?

When MSF reported that the US attacked one of their hospitals in Afghanistan, the United States admitted it was true and apologized for the mistake. This shows that MSF is neutral, and prepared to place blame where it is due, and that the US is willing to admit to and apologize for bombing hospitals. If US backed forces were responsible for the bombing as Russia alleges, why didn' MSF say so?

And yet so many people know with absolute certainty that Assad's air force did not bomb those hospitals.

Actually nobody has said that they know with certainty that Assad or even Russian forces did not bomb the hospital, they've only pointed that it's entirely possible the US could also be responsible and that it's possible that either side could have unknowingly bombed the hospital.

The only person who's made definitive claims for one side or the other being responsible is yourself

IF it's proven that Russia or Assad are responsible then to be honest MSF only have themselves to blame for operating a hospital in hostile territory and NOT giving information of its location, as another poster has stated, just how in hell are either side supposed to know not to bomb a hospital they do not the location of ?

There seems to be different accounts on who is or did what . We know that the CIA is operating a covert operation in this war and does have access to some really nice machinery . There is no shortage of propaganda and twisting of the facts on the ground .

I have pretty much limited myself to pointing out that Syria's denials are self contradictory, and that MSF is credible in its claims because it has denounced the US in the past and would do so now.

Why would the US bomb a hospital treating its allies?

MSF is neutral, like the Red Cross. They are not in hostile territory, they are fulfilling their mission in a war zone. MSF has alleged that the US attacked its hospital inmAfghanistan because it was treating injured Talibani as well as civilians.

There is a difference between dangerous and hostile.

Then why didn't they admit their mistake like they did in Afghanistan? In any event, it was in territory held by US allies, so they had no reason to be bombing there.

That story change a few times until they were finally were backed into a corner where they had to . First it was a gun fight with terrorist and their guys on the ground .Then it was they didn't know it was a hospital . Then it was confusion in the chain of command . I got sick of their excuses and moved on because I figured at the worst they would throw someone under the bus if they really needed to .

Just like Bashar al-Jaafari did in a single breath.

Blame the victim:

“They assumed the full consequences of their act, because they did not consult with the Syrian government...”

But since that implied that it was Syrian forces, they needed to justify why they did it:

Bashar al-Jaafari, Syria’s U.N. envoy, called MSF a “branch of the French intelligence operating in Syria.”

And then, of course, he had to deny they did it and blame someone else altogether:

...they did not operate with Syrian government permission,” he said, accusing the U.S.-led coalition of carrying out Monday’s strike.

foreignpolicy.com...

If you accept that MSF was telling the truth about the US attacking its hospital in Afghanistan, why can't you accept that they are telling the truth about Assad's forces attacking hospitals in Syria?

I don't know about you but I could easily imagine the USA bombing hospitals. Was it them this time? Perhaps not, but it's not impossible like your question at the end suggests.

The US admits that it accidentally bombed an MSF hospital in Afghanistan, so why should they not admit to these?

because they only admit when the proof is undeniable.
they wont admit because in this fight they are the bad guys.
they wont admit because regardless if it was Russia or not, stupid idiots reading Murdoch media will see the words Russia, bomb and hospital and immediately believe it.

Because maybe they didn't?
Because they dont care anymore what ''western'' media says, Assad and Russia are the good guys in this fight and are turning the tide - you think they are going to give a damn what people say when they find evidence of the US and Turkeys involvement with ISIS ?

Its slowly starting to turn sour for us (the west)
