So I guess, as you have stated in other threads, all of the smart people are voting for Bernie, right?

I've never said that. As we have seen from our interactions before, you like to make things up as you go and have reading comprehension issues.

As far as Facebook, it is where the majority get their news. A government backed propaganda machine. To put on the blinders.

Ok, then why is someone using the tactics of a "government backed propaganda machine" to justify the tactics used by Trump?

This is not a blind infatuation like Obama.

Yes, it is. Doesn't matter what information is presented or what dumb things Trump says, people come out of the woodwork to twist and misrepresent context to defend Trump.

It's the Hope and Change BS all over again.

How we won in 2012 is beyond me. The country was asleep.

Perhaps he won because he got more votes and had a better message than the GOP. Something as simple as that should not be beyond you, unless.......

You should care more about the meaning and content of the sometimes simple words someone can say instead of analyzing it for grammatical errors.

Have I scolded anyone for grammatical errors in this thread?

People who talk with SAT words all the time are pretentious. Lighten up. Relax. Bust some balls....

People that lack balls seem to enjoy following a leader that insults his own supporters, and can't find the balls to call him out for it.

Balls indeed.

The last nail in the coffin of democracy would come from republicans. "Polarization" is just a substitute word for forcing your will on others usurping the vote. Can you not take responsibility for the failure of your philosophy and move on?

You really think Trump is a mainline Republican.

The only special interest group Trump has is the American people and that in my opinion is quite the positive, especially when on top of that his platform, his ideas and his plans seem to me to be better than any other candidate has put forward.

You can feel however you like about his political stances and proposed policies but others like them. I prefer my candidates unowned and not in debt to lobbyists where their policies will do an about-face the second they get in office to appease their money base.

We have a much better chance of that not happening, with someone not in debt to the lobbyists.

Many of the same things were said about Obama.

Good luck with your new found "Hope and Change".

It's why they are so worried about him getting into office. He stands firmly against the war in Iraq and all subsequent actions in the middle east. He has the ability to work with other countries to actually get rid of ISIS and bring out troops out of areas we have no business being in, and no one owns him so he doesn't have to play the yes man to their politics.

He has a solid mix of ideals, which have the ability of bringing this country together, as a nation of individuals instead of a nation of purchased parties.

I think its workable for all of us, and I like that.

Last week, Survey USA released an eye-catching poll showing how Donald Trump would fare in head-to-head matchups against potential Democratic nominees Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Al Gore. The most shocking result was not that he beat all four of the candidates. What made everyone’s jaw hit the floor is that he received more than 20 percent support among African-American voters in every matchup.

Would you rather the man whom Fidel Castro supported in a 4 hour speech about how wonderful it is that America will become a socialist country under Sanders? The man who vocally supported Fidel Castro and said how the Cuban people were basically ungrateful and just look at all the wonderful things that Castro had provided for them?

Yeah - I will stick with someone who will at least keep America, America, bring jobs back to this country not force them to leave, lower our taxes not raise them, make the tax code easier, not pretend like its okay for some people to break every law but not others (you know, all that equality under the law stuff!) we can go on and on all day, but I'll stick with this nation and not try turning it into a socialist state.

Every argument I see against Trump makes me want to vote for him even more.

At this point, the only way I wouldn't vote for him is if an axe-wielding serial killer that preyed on politicians threw his or her name in the hat. Then they would get my vote.

That's unlikely to happen though.. sooo...

I guess I'll vote for Trump.

Anything to get rid of the beer-goggle world view of the current administration.

I'm a socialist. Of course I would.

Empty rhetoric. You version of America is different than how others would define it. You support the confirmation bias he serves you.

but I'll stick with this nation and not try turning it into a socialist state.

Good luck. The world becoming more and more liberal, as those that hold such a myopic view of the world continue to die-off.

Better pull up your bootstraps. Us socialists are making a comeback.

And we will fight you tooth and nail - in America the majority enjoys freedom. That is why people immigrate here, and immigrated here in the past. We have seen socialism fail time and time again in practice.

We will have none of it. But this does explain why you hate Trump so much, he represents freedom, and you do not.

This is what I am afraid of. You would fight tooth and nail to protect the freedoms of the majority, but not the freedom of all people, as it is stated in the constitution.

We have seen socialism fail time and time again in practice.

And we enjoy it when it succeeds, as well.

We will have none of it. But this does explain why you hate Trump so much, he represents freedom, and you do not.

Considering that you only wish to protect the majority, I find it humorous that you would lecture me about freedom.

But you want to impose your views on the majority so how is it any different? This is why the special interest folks are going crazy right now. No one is talking about gay marriage or abortion or budgets like you would normally see during this political season. Those are usually the 'big arguments' when it is not even a POTUS issue.

For the last 30 years it has been the minority that takes away from the majority. A person says they do like like a manger scene. It is removed. Does not matter if it was there for years or a tradition, remove it. One person speaks up and 100's or 1000's are affected. It should not work that way either. This however is why you have local and state politics but again, that big government you want to continue to have has slowly taken over every part of our lives and current have 100 million on the welfare payroll. Socialism will not save that. If there are no jobs or job market there are no taxes. With no taxes all of your dreams turn to dust. Sorry, the majority of the country it would seem is too 'smart' for socialism...

No I don't. Again, making # up as you go.

Please, stop putting words in my mouth.

No one is talking about gay rights or abortion because the Right Wing lost on those issues. Freedom won and their authoritarian ways lost.

A person says they do like like a manger scene. It is removed.

Only if it's only public property. They can do whatever they wish on their own land.

Does not matter if it was there for years or a tradition, remove it.

Tradition does not 'trump" constitutionality.

Socialism is what helps people get fed and pay the bills when big-government corporatism has bled this nation to the point of death. You should thank socialism, otherwise people would be breaking-down your door to find food.

With no taxes all of your dreams turn to dust

With no taxes you have no military, roads, police, courts, etc.

It's amazing how tunnel-visioned people are that they cannot look past the end of their own noses.

Sorry, the majority of the country it would seem is too 'smart' for socialism...

Dude, you have a hard time following a conversation and lack basic reading comprehension abilities. Forgive me if I laugh at what you believe the majority of this country believes.

Yes, we have seen it's "success" in countries like Venezuela and Cuba, among many more. We know that the loudest of your voices are no more than unbelieving prophets seeking to position themselves in the positions of greatest monetary and power gain while selling this snake-oil immanentizaion of the eschaton to the masses who are blinded in the light of the falsehood of dreams. Reality and history tells us this.

Your loudest voices use innocent Muslims, Jews, Atheists and Christians to sell this snake-oil immanentization of the eschaton, but some of us know, this is falsehood your selling and your only dream is to be on top of the pile when it all falls apart, as you know well it will.

Some of us have no desire to see innocent Americans risking their lives to escape government persecution, as is the case with Fidel's Cuba. Your socialist America will be no different in the end.

In the real world, some people get sick, some people die, some people are rich, some are poor, and some are in between. In the real world, we know the government can never be the savior of all the ills of mankind. We aren't selling the eschaton, only you are.

What we are selling is reality, that a government should have some limits, and its better if the people are free. We say the government has a responsibility to the people, and if it fulfills its duties then the people's lives can be better than slavery to the state, but cannot be the be all end all - people must help people at some point.

In the end, you are selling lies that historically end in failure, in the hopes of being in a greater position when it all comes crashing down. I don't want to see this once great nation come crashing down, and it doesn't have to - this nation didn't begin to fail economically until socialist policies really started taking hold, now we are at a precipice.

We will fight you, oh you who think you are more intelligent than the people, who think you know what people need more than they do themselves, who wont shed a tear when it is them who are risking their lives to escape. We will fight you.

Your dream does not exist, cannot exist, has never existed.

Nice rant.

You may want to actually ask what I believe before trying to dismiss it with a long-winded, irrelevant response.

You assume much, and you know what they say about those that assume?

You write at about a 4th to 5th grade level so I am OK understanding your diatribe here. Small bits of deflection while assuming that your view is the best because it is your opinion? You see, I am not stating that my ideas are the best and all the rest suck. I am saying that for the majority, we need lower taxes and not more free stuff from the government.

The US is already dangerously close to being the Progressive Socialist utopia the DNC and the GOP are fighting for. One where they can fight over carving up Federal monies. Both sides want it.

Taxes are there to fund the government not entitlements. I am not for removing taxes but they should not be raised. Cut the budget. There was a time that this happened. A time when a president stepped in and did not just threaten to shut it all down if he does not get his way. He busted big balls that day and got away with it....

See. I never said my view is the best. You're just making things up.

Hardly. Please tell us about those things that make the US a socialist utopia.

Sarah Palin called out the media, and shot from the hip. But the media buried her.

The media isn't even trying to bury Trump. They push everything that his supporters like about him and give him a lot of attention. I don't know why anyone can't see that. Sarah Palin would have been laughed off the face of the earth if she tried to not show up for a debate.

I'm not a Palin fan, but clearly Trump is being treated VERY, VERY kindly considering what an ignorant, doofus, crybaby he is. Trump is 100% sanctioned by the two parties and is in this race to throw it to democrats. I'd bet money on that.

I do not seeing him being treating kindly as much as just being talked about. Right now, who do you think pulls in more in the ratings, Trump or (insert candidate). No news agency is nice either. They should not be, but, they should also not be so biased but they are.

trump is busting the GOP and DNC's balls so bad right now it is hurting the pockets of the donors. He doesn't care. He gives to these types of campaigns that he is running. He has done what was good for his business and it worked. Now he wants to do what he feels is good for the country.

Everybody said Palin's endorsement would kill him...then it was NH....now it is....(crickets)

And if he DOES get the nomination, prepare to watch for his absolute and total destruction as the media and the democrats unleash every single piece of damning information on him, from this cycle to his early days......

They will utterly destroy him......his money cant buy his safety when it comes to political theatre
