The airstrikes hit two hospitals in Idlib province and one in Azaz , sources on the ground say the stikes were conducted by pro Assad forces with Turkey blaming Russia directly for the bombing a Women and children's hospital In Aleppo province’s northern border town of Azaz which has left at least 10 dead , including children.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said a Russian ballistic missile had hit buildings in Azaz, with children among the dead.
www.bbc.co.uk...

“This appears to be a deliberate attack on a health structure,” said Massimiliano Rebaudengo, MSF’s head of mission, who said this deprived the local population of around 40,000 people of all “access to medical services in an active zone of conflict”.
“The civilians of northern Syria are between two kinds of hellfire — either they are trapped at the border if they try to flee, or they are targeted in their hospitals if they try to stay,” said Mumtaz Haizeh, a doctor with Syrian Expatriates Medical Association, which supports medical centres in opposition-held areas. “This is a catastrophe.”
Photographs sent by activists in the area showed rescue workers and civilians digging through the wreckage of the destroyed facility. An hour later, activists reported that air strikes hit the central hospital in the Idlib town of Maarat al-Numan.

Three hospitals hit in one day , if they weren't targeted then that's some freak accident right there.
No doubt the pro Putin crew will have some valid reason why Vlad the Great would want to target the sick and young , or is this beyond defence.

A child is evacuated from the damaged hospital in Azaz.

Since when were hospitals valid targets ?

The waters, it seems have been muddied.

Turkey and Russia ... hope this was not an exercise in pointing out "who's the baddie" .

My thoughts are with the poor people who do not have a dog in this fight.

It's terrible. Just like when the US bombed a massive hospital in Afghanistan in November. Or every time Israel bombs schools and hospitals when arms are hidden inside.

It's a war. Bad things happen. Russia has crappy missle systems in Syria.

The US has bombed a civilians by accident in Syria as well

There is so much disinfo here who knows what is going on. Turkey has been shelling our allies for three days. I don't give them much credibility. They are probably even worse than Russia.

war is hell. these things happen in war. it's business don't you know, nothing personal. in fact it's THE business. also a blight on the planet and a hurdle we must collectively overcome and put behind us, forever. or we're done.

Well it certainly looks as though at least one hospital was hit, although the medical group, (MSF) says that was the Syrian army, and and that children were victims in other strikes.
If the Russians did do another two hospitals, then they need to ceasefire immediately, and investigate. It's not right that innocents are getting killed in lieu of militarists.
Edit, I looked again at the video, and it looks like it was also the Syrian army who hit a hospital in Azaz, (A massive Syrian advance) while what is thought to be Russian airplanes that hit a shelter outside of that town/city.
Even so, it's time to stop, and consider things. In a mess like that, the responsibility is collective. Same goes for any 'Western', actions along the boarders, Armies are so reluctant to admit to wrongdoings.

This has all been heard before and ended up the Russians were in the clear when accused of bombing hospitals last year when they provided prove that the hospital was still standing.

Would not take the word of western MSM for this incident either as the Russians are now saying it was the US planes that bombed the hospitals in question;

The US and Russia are trading accusations over the bombing of hospitals in rebel-held areas of Syria as diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire falter.

A Pentagon spokesperson accused Russia and Syrian government forces of destroying two major hospitals in the divided city of Aleppo on Wednesday, without specifying when the air strikes took place.

But Igor Konashenkov, from Russia’s defence ministry hit back by claiming Moscow tracked two US Air Force A-10 jets bombing Aleppo on the day.

Source

Think we may have to wait for more information about this as its not clear who the perpetrators were and it's not beyond the US armed forces to bomb hospitals.

Crappy they may be but it seems they found their targets well enough.
There are no excuses for the inexcusable , on either side.

These hospitals were formed to aid "barrel bomb" victims from Assad so this action qualifies as a crime against humanity.
Putin new exactly who, what, when and how these people were and wanted them crushed...

You won't believe this...

Dear 2016, 1939 to 1945 called and said stop acting like little kids, they didn't die and suffer so that the world could just act like a bunch of idiot kids again.

When you don't learn from your mistakes, you're doomed to repeat them and suffer the full frontal onslaught of being truly stupid.

I'd say Turkey was a lot worse than Russia with their current Rhetoric, threatening the EU to allow hundreds of thousands of refugees into the EU if he doesn't get his own way. He's a akin to a toddler having a hissy fit and spitting out his dummy.

I used to like Turkey but what the hell were the populace thinking when they voted Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in as president?

Agreed. It's also being reported by the US they were ballistic missiles and shelling most likely from Turkey that hit two hospitals.

All information about this come from Turkey, so I don't believe a word they say.

I will wait for another source before even considering it.

As another poster stated it's very possible US planes did it with the intent of blaming Russia for it.
Oh yes, we've sunk that low and lower.
The US has no high moral ground any more.
We threw that away along with the Geneva convention once we started the Global War on Terror.
What if there were no patients in the building, only opposition fighters?
The last picture appears staged to me, no dirt or even messy hair - just people walking out of a pile of rubble that isn't even smoldering. Could have been taken anywhere.

Exactly

It was THE main headline on BBC news today. The government is trying to focus our attention on the 'evil' Russians so something can get under way. Expect some intervention from Sunni nations/USA/UK any day now.

A terrible waste of life for sure but who knows what is really going on in the lands of WMD?

Its almost as if its hunting season on Medécins sans frontières.

The Saudis, the Americans, the Russians, the Syrian Army... everyone bombs MSF Hospitals.

“Since the start of this year alone, 13 health facilities in Syria have been hit, confirming that hospitals and clinics are no longer places where patients can recover in safety,” the charity said.
