if you really, really worry about it hard, and stay up at nights,.....will it make things any better/different?

If the answer is no, then it seems you are on the right track. Be it a meteorite out of nowhere, a runaway bus, or being 99 years old and catching a cold, it's will eventual happen. the best you can do is live every day with no regrets, never miss a chance to tell someone you love them, and be as nice as you can to those you care about.

Death is just the next step on an amazing journey.

I understand you. Concerning others, "You have to respect death as journey" I have been told. I think thats ture.
