Hello brothers,sister's,and those in-between.
My name is Alex, i go by the handle "Nemo55" and I've reached the age of sixty years old,
without anyone killing me so far, which i consider quite the accomplishment considering.

I'm a retired heavy duty mechanic, lay scientist, philosopher, and all round non conformist.
Born in Liverpool England, left in the early seventies to carry on life in Vancouver Canada.

I've been following Jessies video's for a while now,and decided i should join the merry crew.

I have for the past three years chosen to live in a Motorhome, not because of being homeless,
rather i have decided, that since i am alone now, i have no reason to be drifting from room to room,
in an apartment or house, too much wasted space, and really,,how many rooms can you be in at one time?

Besides, i am living a life more in tune to my belief, that we all need to be making good choices for our Planet.
And my Life in a Motorhome gives me less of a carbon footprint, and i love the freedom to move.
Currently i am wintering on the Baja, Mexico, waiting for warmer weather in Vancouver, at which time i shall,
resume my life in my Motorhome and off the grid.
I am versed in many topics, and can hold my own in most any discussion.
Anyhow,,it's nice to be hear among like minded individuals, thanks for the invite.
Nemo.

Hello Nemo and welcome to ATS.
I am a resident of Boston, but my relatives are are mostly French Canadians from Montreal and I visit my wife's connections in P.E.I. faithfully every year.
ATS has something for everyone, and hope you enjoy your stay.

Not gonna lie, that sounds great to me lol. Space just gets filled with things, and things just tie you down.

Edit:

Almost forgot! lol!

WELCOME

I see your introduction as a conspiracy of its own....
Are you a brit or a Canadian now I am left wondering?
Perhaps if you are willing you can answer a few questions for me?
1 fish and chips or poutine?
2 Soccer or Hockey?
3 tea or Tim Hortons coffee?

I still carry my British Passport, although I've lived long enough in Canada,(since 1971) that i would fight anyone who accused me of Not being Canadian.
I prefer Fish and Chip's,but like the odd bowl of poutine once in a while.
I prefer Hockey, Soccer has become too full of Diving Prima Donna's.
I love tea at home, but love Coffee when I'm out. I prefer McD's coffee, hate the food though.
And yes,,i've been a conspiracy nut since an early age,,hahaha

In the Canadian Maritimes , Tim Horton's is a religion. Just like Dunkin Donuts in Boston. (noted that downeast purists leave Starbucks out!).

I could never bring McD's coffee up to those standards but it makes it for many because of Newman's Own, and that has nothing to do with McD, as they needed something good to go up against the big 2.

In MA, we even have a few Tim Horton to appease the Canadian contractors in the city that are die hard Tim Horton buffs. I enjoy this, as I can have my cup and drink your's too!

Of course my post was good natured fun...
And according to your answers I would have to conclude you are indeed a brit canuck...
Glad to hear you are proud to associate yourself with Canada that's what really makes you one...
And I would have no ability to argue the fact seeing as you have been in Canada longer then I and I have been here all my life...
Hope you enjoy yourself here Nemo!
Oh ya I'm curious and just have to ask... have you ever picked any mushrooms on hippie island?

Long as you are not so frugal as to be a lover of lucky lager...
Cause that's bad for you...
Unless of course you use it as an aid for regularity...
Cause that's about all its good for...
Yucky stuff I tell ya...
