Voted YES on prohibiting foreign & UN aid that restricts US gun ownership.
Voted YES on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers.
Voted YES on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse.

I mean, if you're single issue isn't second amendment rights but assault-weapons rights, then...don't vote for Sanders. Don't suggest he's not pro-2nd amendment 'in any way, shape, or form' though.

If Sanders believes 99.9% of gun owners obey the law, why does he feel there is a need to ban semi automatic center fire rifles?

It is well known that more people are killed every year with hands and feet as opposed to semi automatic rifles and shotguns.

That makes me question his intentions.

You didn't bother to read the link, did you?

A vast majority of hunters don't use semi-assault weapons when they hunt. They don't need it. They don't have magazines that can shoot 30 bullets at a time. So that I would hope that, as a nation, we would ban these types of assault weapons so they don't get into the hands of people who are gun dealers or are out shooting at police officers. I would hope we could agree on that.

BTW, I am not afraid of socialism. I am only afraid of a corrupt Congress spending money in a highly socialist economy.

If it weren't for our corrupt Congress, I would be all for a socialist economy that cares for all of America. FDR was a Fabian though.

The 2nd has nothing to do with hunting.

That statement further proves Sanders either knows nothing about (I don't believe that), or is not pro 2nd.

Never. 100% free markets are very bad things in a capitalistic society. They typically result in roughly 97% of the population losing everything every few years and massively lower quality of life. Free markets get you longer hours, lower pay, fewer if any benefits, no safety net, no minimum wages, lead poisoned water, and all the rest. Then on top of that you get 2008 or 1929 style financial collapses every few years due to the bubble economies that form and burst.

I've made this comparison on ATS several times, but no one wants to hear it. FDR's policies most DEFINITELY were Socialist in nature. Even he admits they were derived from Socialist political ideology.
