Hello again fellow Snow Bunnies

Suches Ga. checking in again. About 30 mins of Tahoe snow, then stopped. Nice layer of ice building up on trees atop the ridge.

Stay warm all. Vodka keeps one nice and warm...

Left work at 7am, hit auto parts store for new wiper's, liquor store for more Bailey's & Evan Williams ( which was on SALE!!! Yippee!!!) then off to grocery store for some ribeye steaks. Priorities!

About 6 inches of snow here with a little more to come. So far just snowplows on the road. Usually I have a front row seat watching cars slide down my hill sideways, however it looks like everyone had some common sense an isn't out yet.

Feral outdoor kitty was in her box with blanket last night, for grins & giggles I stuck a heat wrap in there to surprise her. Unfortunately I have no outlet on the front porch to get the heated dog pad to her, so for now heat-wraps under her blanket is all I could think of? Any ideas are welcome...

She is a stubborn little wild thing, she only accepts just "so much help". I've been heating up her canned food ( it was -20 here with wind chill the last few nights) and for christmas she got a little warm steak & shrimp. The look on her face was PRICELESS!!! Meh...the little kid has nothing, so I went nuts.

hope everyone is warm & safe!

Glad you aren't suffering too much

We rescued a kitty yesterday also! Well, I've been feeding her and she had a box out back even though she doesn't technically live with us......the old man isn't too warm and fuzzy when it comes to animals.
I've let her in the kitchen before and she never wanted to stay long...she lives across the street under an empty house.

We have gotten around 5-6 inches and it is still snowing...very lightly...
Well, yesterday HE let her in and she has stayed...curled up, big belly, and warm. She has settled right in.
Perhaps an extension cord run through a crack in the window...or maybe just run it out the door and close the door on it?

Stay warm!

I saw that! And there was a fire they were battling, too. Makes me glad I'm in Texas.

Yeah...so jealous!
Little Black Kitteh is well......black, tiny & cute as a button. She's shown up the last 3 winters here. Never in the summer.
Earlier this fall after her first heated dinner, she left me a bird on the welcome mat. Trade-sies?? Thank you??
She sits on the step quietly waiting for someone to notice her.
No meowing, not a peep out of her ever.

Thought about running a cord, but my big indoor ( fixed) kid will disassemble the whole window if he gets a whiff of fresh air. Since I work quite a bit he'd have plenty of time to escape. Thanks for trying!

I am snowed in
I look out the window now and then and see idiots shoveling and blowing snow. It is still snowing hard and the wind is blowing. I shoveled a path for the dog to pee... He isn't bright, but he is smart enough to not want to go out in this crap.
