I had no idea this album existed! But was pleasantly surprised to find it browsing through my local bookseller
As one might expect, it's just some easy-listening mood music that is the hallmark of Jeff Lynne's production style. Sadly, Lynne has dropped the O
part of the E and the L, making this essentially another solo album reminiscent of 2001's Zoom. I wish Lynne would bring back the string section to
his music. But as always, musicians must move onward and move with the times. Nevertheless, it is still a mellow, groovy listen.
However, fans will always be pining for the classics.
