I'm not going to argue with you, Annee. I respect your opinion. Just know that not everyone that supports Trump is a butthole. Or rich (me).

I don't disagree with anything you're saying. There's a 50/50 chance that he'll either screw it up even worse, or start a path to fixing things. One thing I can promise is that if he doesn't do what he says he's going to do as far as the portions I support, he'll lose my support and I'll admit to being wrong. Not being a career politician, however, urges me to give him a chance to prove that only the politicians lie and tell us only what we want to hear.

I agree on all counts.

I think Trump will throw a wrench in the globalist agendas and for the first time in American history, they will not get their way.

It will take a man like Trump with his personality to tell the globalist that you all are not running this show, you all are not going to have things your way, at lease while I am in Office.

Especially a guy who is use to having people work for HIM and bow to his money and influence , the fact that anyone thinks this man will work FOR the people whenever his history shows the complete opposite is hilarious.

This is the same man that will denigrate employees and take the homes of old ladies for his casinos, his supporters think he gives two CRAPS about the people?

The people work for HIM just like the politicians he bought off

Trump.

He doesn't like incompetence.

We can only imagine what would happen to government incompetence if he gets elected !!!

"Fire all the meatheads !!"

Hmmmm. Maybe the Obama.Care internet exchanges would have actually worked !!

Unlike the Obama administration where NOBODY ever gets fired for incompetence.

Exactly. I feel just the same. I just wanted to make it clear that I didn't think Trump was going to be a clear cut savior for America. I understand that there's a chance he's not going to do everything he says. I'll jump off a bridge before I act like the sheep that thought obama was going to save them and pay their houses and buy them cars.

Pretty much, I think, I've just classified him as a Bully.

IMO, bullies are about control from insecurity. In his own environment, he is in control. Leading a nation, he would not be. His "he can dish it out, but can't take it" behavior is telling.

I understand the "Looking for something different". I just don't think he is the right "different".

-----------------------------------

And, for me, International Politics is critical. I don't think he has the finesse.

Trumps biggest selling point to his supporters is that he's not PC, a problem I didn't know existed until Trump supports began parroting Trump. That and he wants to ban Muslims and build a wall.

Wow, what a great president he will be.

Can you name one president that hasn't talked or acted like this?

How about all of therm? Show any other one that started shouting profanity while running for office.

You have obviously forgotten why Trump is so popular.

He is popular because the scheme to dumb down the American population has worked great. Back in the 50's Trump wouldn't have lasted two weeks. Anyone that supports Trump is an idiot who wants a fascist for President.

Thanks for the heads up on your shoddy opinion. To the supporting American population, he's popular because he doesn't bend over for bullies or kowtow to political correctness. The silent majority doesn't want a coward running America anymore. You can use your redundant bullying tactics and call us all ignorant or stupid or racist or tell us we only support him because we want a fascist for a president or whatever you have to say to make yourself feel like you've won, but at the end of the day, I'll relax a lot better knowing that America has a chance to be great and powerful again.

As I said in another thread, this sort of response is indicative of the "Hope and Change" rhetoric that got Obama elected. People are getting caught-up in the emotions and confirmation bias, and not thinking this through.

Very dangerous, in my opinion.

You might be right, but as I told you in that thread, I'd rather see what he can do and NOT elect him for a second term, than sit here and wonder if he could have really done what he said he was going to do. Obama didn't live up to his hype in his first four years and he was elected a second term. If Trump lies to us like that, he won't get a second term. Just like we gave our Senate a chance, and they lied to us, they won't be reelected either if they fall into the category that kowtowed in the areas they promised us they wouldn't.

I would not vote for Trump because I am afraid he might actually do what he says.

I went through the Perot era. At that time I 100% thought a good business man is what this country needed. That if the country was run like a successful corporation, it would work.

But, I believe I have evolved in more political understanding since then. This is a huge, very diverse country. I would love to be able to adhere to the simplicity of a "well run business", but it just isn't that simple.

People say they don't want a politician, but again - - they train for the job. I just don't believe anyone can "walk into" the presidency.

The problem with having a businessman run the country like a business is best explained in a quote from a Forbes article:

not everything that is profitable is of social value and not everything of social value is profitable

www.forbes.com...

Someone like Trump does not understand that.

Thanks. Good quote.

Yes, I have evolved from my younger Perot days in understanding there is far more to running a nation. As in "needs of the People" for one.

Especially, a nation that is as huge and diverse as America.

This suggests he is no different to me inasfar as he swears like a sailor. Other than that, he should practice more diplomacy and be a little more respectful of others. He is however winning the hearts and minds of many Americans - and it is clear to me he is awakening a great many to his policies and intentions.

I've said it a number of times, imo, it'll be the Trump / Bernie choice come November.

The reason it works for me is becau his ego is so big he won't fail. He won't go for what the lobbyists and globalists want. He's paying for his campaign himself so he doesn't owe "favors" to those super PACs and deep pocketed donors.

This isn't true. Trump is taking donations and since July has not spent any of his own money on his campaign. Actually, he's running his campaign at a profit since he pays himself from his campaign, and campaigns using the infrastructure of his private business. The money to pay from all of that is coming from the donors he doesn't like to talk about.

His policies of making America great again? The man has no vision and if Hell freezes over with him in office he'll pretend he's knows what he's doing while screwing things up on a level we've neve before seen, worse than Bush and that's saying something.

He isn't awakening anyone. Fact is people are sick of corrupt politicians and many believe Trump is the answer, how ignorant. He's as corrupt as the politicians even boasting he's paid many off to do thy bidding. Trump supporters.....
