Well he's already violated one of first rules of things not do if you win ...

According to the news, that's photoshopped. A hoax, so he is not the real winner and will still be in mom and dad's basement. The only difference is now he will have folks who don't watch the news trying to kill him for money he didn't really win.

ETA - The picture is actually a picture of pro skate boarder Erik Bragg (note the last name lol). The today show is reporting that the image of the ticket has been altered and does not represent a real lottery ticket (lacks corresponding numbers in correct places).

www.quora.com...

ETA Again... This is what a real ticket looks like -

This is the pic of Erik's "winning" ticket -

A colleague of mine was telling me about some of the past lotto winners that are flat broke now, years after winning .... Makes one wonder

that may be a fake but I know California "tweeted" that a winning ticket had been purchased in Chino Hills (or something like that)

I'll look for the link

There are reportedly 3 winners, after taxes I believe the take is 300 million, so its a 300 millionaire.

Edit: okay its a joke anyway...

I posted this on ID on the last minute of break at work. Then dropped a link here. It was all the time I had.

Then someone told me it is faked.

Spanked by the internet again.

I return to this thread fully shamed and ready to cowboy up.

Can be moved to the hoax bin.

I was so gullable.

It's ok, we'll use it as a moral lesson:

Kids, if you work hard and practice enough, you can become a professional skateboarder, and not have to worry about looking like a basement-dwelling cretin

According to statistics , most winners spend it all in the first year.

I dont see how that is possible.

I mean if I had won, I would only be staying a various 5 star hotels around the world. Have a few dozen supercars, give cool lavish gifts to strangers, and maybe a few thousand acres next to yellowstone.

Just reasonable lifestyle changes.

It doesnt make sense that the others could burn through it so quick. It boggles the mind.
