My posting history indicates that I do indeed have an understanding of international politics, but that is irrelevant, as are your comments gushing love for the EU.

I was responding to your comment regarding safety from uncontrolled immigration and yes, so long as the UK government continues its policy of defending the border on the French side we are much safer than the Schengen area.

Unlucky, nothing I stated was factually incorrect.

I don't check anyone's posting history, ever. I think every post should stand on its own merits.
Nor do I ever aim to be contentious just for the sake of it.
But I am genuinely surprised that anyone could seriously consider that political/economic insularity is even possible (or desirable, for that matter) in this day and age, especially in Europe.

I love the idea of a united Europe, yes, and I am not about to be ashamed of it.
Like I said in another post, it is - or has been - a shining example of successful multiculturalism (as opposed to a "melting pot"); and for all its faults, past and present, the last seven decades of relative peace and prosperity speak for themselves.
In other words, its merits outweigh - by far - its faults.

The world is being guided by occult secret societies that don't operate under flags or within borders. They are experts in mass-manipulation and social engineering.

Organised religion is the commercial occult.

We are being shown a huge army marching up to the front gate and we are all preoccupied with it. Is it significant? Yes. Is it the whole show? I doubt it.

Can someone answer a stupid question for me? How does Merkel have the authority to do this things that don't concern Germany? I know she's the elected leader of Deutschland, but where does she get the authority to dictate what nearby countries will do? Is she President of the EU or something?

The short answer is, the game is rigged, planned, orchestrated, and she's a puppet.

That witch won't be sweeping this one under the rug..

It's not just the refugee crisis that's out of control it's Sgt.Merkel and the whole damn PC gov't in Europe.

They need to change that word, Government... as they no longer know 'How' to Govern.

It's ironic that you (and so many others) would accuse Merkel of political correctness when it was SHE who said "Multi-kulti ist gescheitert" - and was then silenced by the "politically correct" ones.
Compromise is the essence of politics. And that's what she did - presumably because she thought she would be more useful if she stayed in politics than outside politics.
No need to demonize her or any one person.

No. But tell me.. who silenced her? Oh that's right she was most likely silenced by $ the big payoff. Or is she so confused she keeps changing her mind on whether multi culturalism works or not?

Probably Goldman Sachs and their owers as usual, who expect every countries economy to expand by a good few percent each year. And the only way that is achieved is through immigration as the existing population retires.

You would be wise to not assert the knowledge a member may or may not have about a subject if their reply is factually correct and you know nothing about them.

Regardless, it is irrelevant again. We were specifically discussing the difference between Britain defending its border and the rest of the EU nations not.
Spin the story whichever way you like but the only issue we started discussing was the benefits or not of being outside of the Schengen area and able to defend ones border.
You picked the wrong horse I reckon.

a reply to: AdAstraSuck it up buttercup, we are way better off than you are, and because our government wasn't stupid enough to remove border controls.

Oh, come on, your physical location has more to do with it than your "tight border control".. Last week they arrested a gang that transported thousands of people right through your border controls. Nay, it aren't your border controls, it is the simple fact you're on an island, surrounded by deep water...

And are you REALLY that much better off? Without the rest of Europe, the UK would simply fall back to the state it was in before in 1973 the TORY Prime Minister Edward Heath took Britain in. Yes, that's right: a TORY minister. They were all up in song and dance because they saw the "economical benefits".

About the legend that it are mainly liberals, or "leftists" that are all in favour of open borders: nay, again. Prey tell - WHOM asked the population if they wanted to stay in the EU? Well, these darned leftists of course: in 1975 Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson held a referendum on Britain’s membership. Alas, the pound signs had not disappeared from your money-hungry eyes - 66% voted yes. So you stayed.

Be careful what you wish for - the EU can do well without the UK. Not the other way around.

Yep being an island nation helps but if the UK didn't control the French side of the tunnel then those thousands of men camped on the French coast would be here now.
Your left/right political arguments I view as irrelevant to the discussion though so I shall ignore it.

TORY Prime Minister Edward Heath took Britain in. Yes, that's right: a TORY minister.

What Ted Heath took us into was a common market not the European superstate that its evolved into.

That remains to be seen , the sooner we get the vote the better for all concerned.

There is something coordinated going on in Europe with these refugees

the way they all gathered at the same spot same time then walked into Europe together.
the way they all committed these sexual assaults together
apparently they had cards on them that had sexual phrases in German

Its like they were put there deliberately and told to cause as much tension as possible.

I hope the UK vote out and then I hope the EU dont try and rig it so we cant leave. If you feel the UK wont be missed by EU thats brill because it means we will be able to gget our sovereignity back faster.

You see most people I know want out even though they are aware for a while we may struggle because at least we will be free and wont get dragged down with the rest of Europe.

I dont think it is a question of whether EU can survive without UK, I think the question is can the EU survive at all without soon imploding!a reply to: ForteanOrg

Are they afraid people would panic if they knew these things?

I would have thought there would have been less panic if crimes were reported as they happened instead of now story after story coming out and causing even more panic because citizens think if these crimes have been hidden what else has been hidden!a reply to: angeldoll

Yes. We are played/sold by our own politicians. Remeber, since 9/11 we have not been aloud to take fingernailclippers or mineral water to the plane.

If you wanted to, you had no chance to move to another country.

Now the same politicians, who made these rules just openend the gate and let millions of folks from high risk regions in without any control.

While germany still sells weapons to the saudis, who did not take in one single refugee - people from their own culture and religion. The saudis have the same ideology like ISIS - still a "reliable partner".

Cluster of ducks is bigger then the pond.

I know it just beggars belied and yet there are so many who just allowed this to happen last year and acted like it was perfectly normal to have hundreds of thousands of people just freely walk from country to country without being stopped or checked.a reply to: svetlana84

I heard a quick snippet about how there is a huge number of Soros funded BLM and college-based agitation groups active out there, in the US. Including all the cop-hating cop-accusing cop-shooting activities. Wouldn't surprise me if he or the usual suspects aren't doing the same to europe.

There's a battle going on, folks. Somebody or some group of people are actively trying to undermine just about all established society and law.

Just my two cents, but I believe that Obama's loving it and helping wherever he can.

Dig up some older threads from 1-2 years ago right before this refugee crises culminated...when Merkel came out with a "refugees welcome !!!!!" motto...
.

Now I know why they are not calling this a refugee invasion. thanks for posting.

Who paid for fares and food and drink for all these people while they were massing and while they were travelling?
who organised all their travel?
who organised the catering form them on the journey?
who told, showed them how to get from A to B, which routes to take. Without out a GPS device I'd get lost in Europe as soon as I stepped out my front door.

If this was not/is an organised operation I don't know what is.
