Backtracking Bernie Sanders Takes Off the Gloves

It wasn't that long ago that Bernie was condemning Donald Trump for attacking Bill Clinton for his alleged sexual indiscretions as evidenced in the following news article dates 1-3-16:

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders slammed Republican front-runner Donald Trump for his attacks on Bill Clinton. "We have more things to worry about than Bill Clinton’s sexual life,” Sanders said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”

Fast forward to 1-8-16 when Bernie performed the Fosbury Flop:

He said he would avoid negative ads, but he didn't say he wouldn't talk negative in public.

If Bernie is elected, I think we will see an implosion of the US economy.
I will be quitting my job and going on welfare as soon as he is elected, just to get a headstart on all of the rest of you that don't work for the government.

It's about time Bernie got some coverage. Looks like people are getting worried about him now. When all people have is he said something mean about his opponent, you are just reaffirming my faith in the good old Bernie. Keep it up guys, your doing great.

Bernie didn't attack Bill Clinton's sexual misconduct just out of the blue, it was a response to a question about Bill Clinton's known affair. Let's be honest here and stop twisting the facts.

The comments came after a man asked the presidential hopeful if his main opponent, Hillary Clinton, was qualified to be president.

“My question to you is: Isn’t one of the qualifications of being president some sort of moral authority?” the man asked, noting that Clinton had “a known affair in the Oval with an intern” -- a reference to Monica Lewinsky.

Bernie went on to say, he's not running against Bill Clinton but Hillary...

“I hear what you’re saying,” Sanders interjected. “Look Hillary Clinton is not Bill Clinton. What Bill Clinton did, I think we can all acknowledged was totally, totally disgraceful and unacceptable, but I am running against Hillary Clinton. I am not running against Bill Clinton, though I understand he has been in Iowa recently.”

I don't know how else he could have addressed the question. Ignore and not answer the issue of Bill Clinton's immoral behavior?

He's not like Trump, who is continuing on attacking Bill Clinton. Nobody brought up the issue with Trump.

If I was Trump, I would be careful attacking Bill Clinton because I guess he has some skeletons in the closet dealing with inappropriate sexual activity. There was a reporter who was on a panel being interviewed by CNN not long ago who said the exact same thing. He said if Trump continued with his attacks he was going to release this information. The CNN reporter asked if he cared about releasing it now, and he said not at this time. However if he does, he would release it on CNN.

Also that isn't Bernies platform at all, just more strawman arguments about it.

I guess when it comes down to it Bernie is no different than the rest. He might not be upfront with it but if given the chance he'll take a jab.

Free is subjective but yes he wants state college subsidized. And he wants universal health care, you know things that other first world nations do. Hardly this free everything and no one had to work tripe you are trying to push.

Public universities no longer are going to have tuition ranging into the tens of thousands of dollars?

It's not about Clinton. It's about the supposed pro-women Hillary who attacked Bill's accusers ans protected a serial sexual harasser/rapist.

I have watched people scamming the system for years.

The Free Beacon reported: Following 16 years as a member of the House, Sanders was elected to the Senate in 2006. His political campaigns were an early vehicle for payments to his family members. According to Jane O’Meara Sanders, the senator’s wife, Sanders’ House campaigns paid her more than $90,000 for consulting and ad placement services from 2002 to 2004. She pocketed about $30,000 of that money. Her daughter Carina Driscoll, Sanders’ stepdaughter, also drew a salary from the campaign. She was paid more than $65,000 between 2000 and 2004, according to her mother. After working for the campaign, the senator’s wife would come under scrutiny for expenditures at Burlington College, where she was hired as president in 2004. While she led the school, it paid six-figure sums to her daughter and the son of a family friend. All the places I know with universal health care are being torn by economic hardships. But please, offer examples of a place with universal healthcare that isn't going down the gutter. A few years back I would have told you that universal healthcare will encourage massive immigration that will break the system. Well, I don't have to predict that now because look at Germany.

It was a valid question and a valid answer, but there's another question about the entire matter worth pursuing:

Why hasn't the media treated Bill Clinton like they have treated Bill Cosby?
