Like in all night ufo-encounters....cameras suddenly get really crappy. But there are explanations for this, as most commercial cameras don't work well picturing objects at distance and with little light source.

I sometimes wonder if all the people saying "crappy video" have ever actually tried taking a photo in low light conditions. The quality is AWFUL, even taking a picture of myself, in my room, from a meter away, with the light on. And my phone probably has a slightly above average camera. If I tried to take a picture of the moon, I'm not even sure it would show up as anything other than a vague glowing mess, and the moon is large and bright. A smaller object like the one depicted in this video I am surprised even shows up at all.

That onus is on the video uploader, and I'm not sure what resolution phone cameras record in regardless. That was not, however, my point.

Of course that's not your point. Your point continues to deflect from the original question about the resolution. Check the post you replied to.

It seems to me like a speckle of dust frozen on the windscreen. It has formed a crystal, due to temperature, which makes it seem like it changes color/pattern as light passes within it.

What? You're accusing me of deflection? I agree with you, a 240P video is bad, but I'm saying that it's ridiculous that people expect anything better than this from a phone camera. The Youtube artefacting is bad, but the source is also low-quality to begin with.

Resolution of the video was Full HD.

And the most important, the exactly date of the phenomen was October, 12 - 2013.

It's quite obviously not the original video and has been uploaded on that page, who has 14 followers,
so I think we can rule out that being the Famous guys own youtube page.

Mr. Andrade uploaded the video onto his Facebook page at 240P. It looks as if the YouTube uploader simply used that Facebook video.

Why did they state it was "following them" but the footage is out the front wind screen. It seems fixed in one location during the video, like a star or venus could conceivably be if on a straight line course flying at it. Being a planet or star would also account for not appearing on aircraft or land based radar.

Conveniently fuzzy close ups, too.

These are strikes against the claim, any for it?

I was about to post the same thing. How could it be chasing them if they were viewing it in front of the plane ?

We need better than that, at least a source
