I have a question for you...

Why hasn't the federal government publicly come forward with a message that try's to establish a clear line of communication to peacefully resolve this situation?

Wouldn't that be the proper course of action?

In fact they are doing the exact opposite. They secretly mobilizing a tactical unit and filing charges against them rather than trying to resolve the situation with a redress of greviences.

If you can't see what's happening here your blinders are on.

I personally think they want an armed confrontation. It would seem secrecy and public distraction are the only cards our government has. Unless they consider us just so stupid and backwards that they have no reason to do anything else.

I believe you are right. Open dialogue is the point of having negotiators no? Why galvanize everyone?

Because so long as we paint each other with broad labels and refuse to come together we have no power.

The only thing the powerful fear?

We are in big trouble not just in america but 9n this planet. There is a clear defined line between the people truly living high on the tech and riches and everyone else. If we kill each other in the streets and have a world war we will be living the hunger games in a short period of time.

We need a global spiritual awakening. We ha e the tech to provide for everyone. We have the thinkers and philosophers to find new ways of social structure and get away from consumerist ic monetary systems that prey on the vast majority of those who participate.

We need cool heads and real solutions. But to assume the government of any country gives a crap about their slaves enough to share what they are hiding is a pipe dream. Foolish.

The people. All of us of all colors creeds and religions must be the change we seek. No system of control or no man leading a political party can fix it for us.

They walked into a trap. If they had the Hammonds support and staged on their land it would be different. That's not to say what they are doing is wrong. Just perhaps poor timing.

The gov wants another Waco. Power is a drug. They need it So they can say "see? Told ya... those crazy domestic terrorists. Let's get rid of them all."

Freedom isn't pretty all the time. But that's the point. You learn from your mistakes. It would seem so many are sleeping in the boiling pot that that those paying attention are over reaching in self preservation.

No clear and open actions. Quiet covert ops. That's how it works when you are hunting. We are all on the menu.

The government is perfectly happy to have the focus on the militia. They won't make any moves. These people will all go home with a nice big FBI file, like Mystik has stated several times.

Oh trust me the government will trump up a bunch of charges once whoever is left is in custody.

They won't let this go the survivors will face serious charges.

Because that's the MO used and practised abroad.

You still don't get it... everything you people allow your overlords to do overseas will come back to haunt you.

That didn't happen in Nevada, and that was an actual "armed standoff"

This is a bunch(maybe) of guys in a vacant cabin in the Oregon winter forest. They will run out of stuff fast.

Well. I think they had more public support then.

If there was a public outcry for it, I could see it. There isn't yet though. These guys will all leave on their own accord and have troubles with any 3 letter agency that can mess with them for a while. It won't end violently.

Hmm. I guess we will find out.

I just know these beaurocrats will take it personally and pursue justice in anyway they can.

I am witnessing this happen in someone else's life that I personally know.

Beat a case on the state level and the federal government thought that they needed to do something about it after.

Me as well. To a family member then the father of a very close life long friend. They sent an apc for him. He had dementia. Refused to let his daughter speak with him at all. They buried him 3 days later.

And I come from a family with deep military/law enforcement ties..... idk what that even means anymore other than I don't know people my age that haven't served and can name the branches of government. It is not as if any of this is new. Humans have kinda been around for a while anyone who chooses basically has the combined knowledge of the human race at their finger tips.......

Everything is connected. History repeats when we do not learn from it much less even know about it.

We are the fall of rome.

I have a family. I would prefer my children travel the stars not ... whatever this is and will become.

Given that this whole thing started as a result of a bloody harsh and totally unjustifiable legal action and resulting jail time, being levelled against a pair of farmers, if memory serves, I think you are probably right.

Government overreach tends to result in more overreach.

I think the Government is happy to do nothing and let these idiots keep making fools of themselves. When nobody involved or in the town want you there, then why the hell are they there? And they are happy to let that nutter Bundy keep on talking about how he was sent by God. It seems the general feeling among Americans is somewhere between somebody should take them out to just laughing at them. The entire mission from God nonsense just makes them look crazy as well as stupid. And the best part is, they have done it to themselves.
