I disagree. I think there are people who absolutely should not have guns. Universal background checks is the only sane solution, you need to trust your fellow gun lovers and those of us who, despite hating guns, will stand with you if the 2nd Amendment ever comes under threat (which doesn't appear to be anywhere near a possibility as of yet).

I fully support the executive actions that the president has taken to address the problem of rampant mass shootings.

Executive branch of Government is there to ENFORCE the laws not make them. The fact that you support him making significant legislative changes while bypassing Congress terrifies me.

Executive actions are not laws.

They are actions the president can take that don't require approval from congress. If the Supreme Court finds them unconstitutional they will be shot down.

The fact that you're pissed off at something you don't understand, terrifies me as well.

Typical left-wing logic dictates that when a drunk driver kills someone, it's the drivers fault for drinking too much. But when an armed criminal kills someone, it's the guns fault.

Tell me how it is not common sense to not allow deranged individuals to purchase high powered rifles and handguns.

I don’t know whether Obama is sincere or not. But he has to realize the GOP are in the hands of the gunners and they run congress so he can’t do anything until the climate of the country changes.


Obama isn’t going to make much of a dent in the gun laws, nor is he going against the constitution, he’s just trying to adjust regulations…no big thing no one has to worry
