Bush Digs at Trump Calling Him a ‘Creature of Barack Obama’

Throughout their many feuds in the race for the 2016 presidency, Jeb Bush has wondered whether Donald Trump is deliberately trying to weaken the Republican Party’s image so that a candidate from the left will win the election. During an interview with NPR, Bush took things up another notch by saying that Trump’s ascendence has more to do with President Obama than anything else.

While he still lags behind, Bush expressed that GOP voters will eventually recognize Trump’s controversial rhetoric as non-productive, and that the mogul’s lead in the polls is more of a result of Obama’s failures rather than any triumph of his own.

And here I always thought that the rise of the Donald was partly because the dissatisfaction of much of the GOP running for POTUS just sucked and they were tired of the talking heads, the other the conservative media especially Fox bestowed on the Donald unlimited love, and have took positions like the Donald going back decades, then there is the Donald's own brash persona that make him attractive to a lot of people who are into school yard bullies or internet trolls.

Herp Derp Bush is grasping at straws. He's desperate to get any attention he can. He's the one Bush I can see having an "unfortunate accident" because he isn't performing as his investors would have hoped.

Hahaha I love seeing all of this come back and bite the Republican party in the arse

They created the atmosphere that Trump is benefitting from.

The xenophobia, racism, misogyny, anti-semitism towards Islam, the Republicans used it all to rile up their base of Right wing nutters, now those right wing nutters have turned on them and they are pissed off, hence why Trump and Cruz are the two leading Republicans at the moment.

I'm sure you love it.

It is the Obama lovers that created this mess in the first place.

Republicans like Jeb are the reasons why Trump is so popular.

I blame Obama for the rise of ISIS, high unemployment, a lousy economy, and a divisive country.

But Obama is not responsible for Trump.

Obama is to blame .. as are the rest of the Dem and Repubs. Both parties suck and Trump is the result.

Selective memory seems to be a common ailment among politicians. Someone should point them towards big pharma, they have the solutions in the form of a pill you don't have to tell anyone you take!

But Obama is not responsible for Trump.

While they are overlapping responsibilities for the rise of ISIL , that baby had roots in the Bush administration's ill advised invasion into Iraq, then after the toppling of Saddam , they had their boy Malilki inserted into the head of the Gov't that refused to share power with former Baathist, these former leaders make up the leadership of ISIL.
A divisive country cause by Obama I think that was set the min he won, and Reps swore not to work with him, claiming illegitimacy and what not, unemployment is down but the effects is still being felt and dare I say where the genesis of that lays??
However Obama have his own cross to bear such as droning Americans without a trial, increasing domestic spying ,persecuting whistle blowers getting us entangled us further in middle east political strife and military action.

We can agree to disagree on Obama.

Jeb Bush? If he was a food, he'd be a rice cake topped with a bland cube of tofu.

I vote neither democrat nor republican.

I vote for the person that I think will do the best job.

Neither Jeb, Hillary nor Bernie fills that roll.

They are the garbage I was referring too.

I stand by my previous statement.

I'd be more interested in why Jeb thinks Jeb's poll numbers are significant.

To Bush's credit though, he did better at uniting the American people and not encourage us all to hate and antagonize each other. That and he allowed a certain piece of legislation to expire giving the Americans our teeth back so to speak. I do appreciate that from him. Guess he knew we would need it after signing the Patriot Act into law

I see limited choice both repub and dem. I can go with either Trump or Sanders. And I am a right leaning Independent having voted both sides in the past.

There is also the question of whether socialism will be the only choice depending on what happens to the economy before the election. Tho I suspect it will be propped up at least until then.

Many may see Trump as far right for his immigration stance but his stance on wall street as well as Bernie's impress me more.

So I will likely vote for either or depending on the final candidates.
