A privilege to come to the UK??? Ahahaha.

Damn, I needed a good laugh this morning. Thanks for delivering my first laugh of the new year!

USA is the greatest place on earth, anywhere else is a downgrade.

Failing school's a collasping healthcare system, militarised police, rampant gun crime, decaying infrastructure, riseing race tensions and out of control debt?

Think il pass on the USA

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about the others either. The only one that I was interested in is Rand Paul but even he's made comments that make me raise my eyebrows.

What is your opinion on the petition and resulting question about your elected leader being banned from entering the UK though?

As I said before.

The government has responded to a petition calling for presidential hopeful Donald Trump to be banned from the UK after he proposed a temporary halt on Muslims entering the US.

It was his statements regarding a temporary halt of Muslims entering the US, that is causing the UK government to cry for his being banned from the country.

Trump is just another being attacked for not prostrating at the feet of Islam.

There are a variety of different people banned from the UK, including a Hamas Leader, a Russian mafia member and even Michael Savage.

So in other words they just haphazardly condone people who they like and ban others they don't despite what they say. This whole petition thing even seems more trivial to me now.

Our border.

We can let through or ban who we like.
Entry is not a right.

I thought trump supporters wpuld respect border control above anything as its one of Trumps leading campaign talking points!

What EXACTLY did Donald Trump say that you would consider hate speech? Just trying to see that perspective, because all I see is a call to temporarily put a stop to immigration from muslim countries till we can get a handle on where the holes are in our system. Most Americans are not comfortable with terrorism infiltrating our shores and setting up cells on our soil.

Halts on immigration and controls on immigration have always been a part of our system until recently.

Its a Trump policy...

Ban things from the border...

And all of Trump's serfs are disgusted now???

What a tangled web we weave.

Ours too. But when we try to impose border control, somehow that's a problem? Interesting.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to state the bleeding obvious here....

Replace the word Muslim with Jew.

Then think about his other idea of closing down mosques and tagging muslims.

Now can you see how that starts to become offensive/alarming to people here in the UK, and worldwide?

No, it is ban things illegal from the border. It is fix the system, then reopen them. It is seeing the problem, finding the fix, then implementing the solution.

Untangle the web.

Good, please keep all Americans out of Europe, keep bringing in your friendly Muslim refugees, it's been working great so far... Your government and people are afraid of words, you'd rather invite people who would kill you with their actions instead.

Meanwhile, 0, zero, Zee row people have been killed or attacked by Refugees since the big exodus.

"Blacks are lazy, Mexicans are rapists, Muslims need to be identified."

Look, some of you maybe lost on your little bubble over there in the Divided States of America...

But here in the United Kingdom, we remember Hitler.

We grew up despising everything he stood for, and learned every detail not only in education, but from our grandparents who taught us what was being fought against when they were conscripted at the age of 16,17 & 18...

We will never forget.

I hope when your leaders finally declare war in China and Russia and Islam you remember who used to have your back...
& who warned you of the marionettes you put in power for the MIC...

We won't be in WW3 with you.
That, is how the UK majority feel right now, Iraq you got lucky...
What did Bush say???

So the UK has laws that stop people speaking what is determined "hate speak"

The people of the UK sign a petition calling for Mr Trump to be banned from the UK under these laws.

The goverment of the UK responds to the populations call for them to respond to this law and ban this person.

And you have an issue with this because of?

Is it your countries laws about free speech?

Are you from the UK? and if not how does this affect you?

You simply fail to understand what is happening here.

To argue this simply reinstates my belief in this.

Yes, and hate rhetoric is illegal within our borders...

Well, if Jews were the ones with suicide bombers and their temples were being used to regurgitate hate and foment radicalism, and recruit or radicalize killers all over the world, the same would have to apply to them. But they're not. Only muslims.

For the love of all things do you not realise how idiotic this sounds?

Please provide accurate links to back up your claims please.

Oh no wait, you cannot because they are nonsense....

As I requested from another poster, I would truly like to understand your version of hate speech. Please post an EXACT statement within context of what Donald Trump said that you would construe as 'hate speech'.

Free Speech is a strong element here in the states. It is an important Right granted to us, not by the government, but by natural law (God), and cannot be taken away from us by government. So, honestly, I am trying to see how anything Trump said could even remotely be considered hate speech. He did not call for killing muslims, permanently banning their religion, burning their mosques, nor any other violent hateful thing. So, where is the EXACT wording you would call hate speech?

One risky and clever person indeed.

Yes, and if he is elected, he won't soon forget who was going to ban him...I tossed that guy to the curb when I heard the "schlonged" comment.

Are you intentionally dense, or a selective reader...

Do you not consider calling black people "lazy", stereotyping Jews as "money counters", labelling Mexicans as "rapists" and wanting to "identify/badge" Muslims as hate speech?

Hitler came to power because people like you ignored it and labelled it "free speech"...

I don't care about Voltaire's ideals, nor your rapist, slave owning founders notions on free speech...
We (as a Nation) lived through Hitlers meteoric-underdog-doing it for the common man, rise to Tyrant.

And we don't want his successors/fans/wigged clones in our borders.

To answer your question, I already answered your question...

I am afraid not.

You can replace the word with any word that infers any of the other races, cultures, and or religions, he has spoken less than favorable of, but it was okay. None of those things created the idea:

Now can you see how that starts to become offensive/alarming to people here in the UK, and worldwide

His cardinal sin was he said something placed a question mark on Islam.

This time it is the threat of being banned from the UK. I guess the next time the masses will be yelling, "Off with his head!"

They were wrong about one thing. "It will be televised."

The Brits and our Media are trying to pick our President.

If Trump frightens them...Good.

I find it really dishonest to try to sway another Nations Voters.
