Am seeing breaking reports that Munich police have asked citizens to avoid rail stations and "crowds," as well as fresh reports that two separate rail stations have been evacuated due to a terrorist threat.

Munich police Twitter - twitter.com...

NBC is reporting te evacuations but I can't get to their Twitter feed or page or whatever it is.

Will update as I can find more sources and as it develops. There's been no indication as to what the threat was or potential method of attack so far.

A few days ago Belgium police arrested two or more men on terrorism chargers. But I don't think these incidents are related to one another.

Yeah just saw it on the news. No more details, I hope it is a case of prudence and nobody gets hurt tonight.

The Munich police just issued a statement calling it "a serious threat" and saying they're investigating "suspects." Sounds like they may already be looking for multiple people.

Sounds more like they are scrambling... anyways, hope that they can locate and eliminate the threat before any damage...

'There will be an attack' is what is being said.

Not long to go before it hits midnight in Germany!

my guess is if anything goes off, it will be when the fireworks go off.

So sad that people can not longer feel safe in their own countries in this time and age, NY is supposed to look like a fort tonight in which people will be probed and searched and be surrounded by military style police.

The price of liberty this days is becoming very expensive and hard to tell if we still have it, to begin with.

Nothing else reported yet so I guess no news is good news, "happy" new year

Yea just saw that they said they received "two concrete tip-offs" about an attack. Sounds significant but they're staying extremely tight lipped, unsurprisingly.

Munich police chief says 5-7 suicide bombers linked to IS were supposed to have attacked. Still no word on the hunt for the suspected bombers.

Or much of anything else.

At least announcing the warning seems to have put the terrorists off.
