The law will have to deal with Bill. He has admitted drugging women.
fortune.com... "On July 6, the
Associated Press obtained records from a 2005 civil suit filed against comedian/actor, Bill Cosby. In his deposition, Cosby testified that he had
given Quaaludes to at least one woman with whom he hoped to have sex. The lawsuit was settled in 2006, but anyone who had stood by him since his
sexual assault scandal went extremely public in November now had no choice but to cut ties."There may be a few gold diggers, but that will come out in
his trial as the DA will vet the witnesses and such.
My bet is that he was much like the privileged wealthy that learn they can do as they please. He is still a frat boy party animal, after all. Juries
will be listening to civil testimony long after the criminal case is resolved. His net worth
fortune.com... was estimated at $400 million at one point but that will undoubtedly diminish as much goes
to lawyers and claimants.
Bill wasn't looking too good, physically, and we don't know if it was real or it was a talented actor playing for the cameras. Bill's self importance
and selfishness was his undoing. As a celebrity, he probably didn't need to drug women and would have managed to have all that he wanted,
consensually. But Bill wanted who he wanted and now, so drugs were his method. Extending Ogden Nash's quote “While candy is dandy and liquor is
quicker, 'ludes really help dudes."
I'm wondering if the shame will cause him to off himself.
