This thread OP is atually a little vague - the title is provocative to say the least as it frames all liberals, but in the detail in does seem to talk about extremists. That happens a lot in these types of threads.

Once we clear all the spin and labels and lies out of the way, logic, truth and common sense are easily found along with the common ground we all share.

I totally agree with you. There are way too many threads that at their core are just more versions of this same battle over vague ideas and labels being fought around here. We'll never fix anything if it continues either because all that arguing isn't even focused on the problem. It's all focused on semantics instead.

The liberals in that case could be pretending to be liberals and acting contrary to what it means to be a liberal. They could be agents of the government to stir the pot. It has been done many times before (60's for example).
