Well, we've had just about every other religion represented here on ATS. Why not Dudeism. We used to have at least one Jedi here. Don't know if there are any others.

Yeah, and I made Time's "Man of the Year"!

Who'd have thought your neighborhood MystikMushroom would be a famous Jedi?

We had that movie on repeat in the dorms when I was in college. Mt. Dew and The Big Lewbowski...the only two constants!

It was one of those movies that never got old no matter what, and you could just leave it on and pay as little/much attention as you wanted.

I actually have the "Man of the Year" mirror...a high-quality replica from the movie. I used to have it hanging on the wall by my front door, so I'd see myself in it before I waked out of the house for the day.

I never get sick of that movie. I could watch it over and over. It has a good soundtrack, too.

I think it would have been more fun being ordained a nudist.

So I'm Flying Spaghetti Monster from the Uk. I got intrested because of the driving license case in the uk
uk independent

It seems no court case or rased in Parliament on this at the moment. We can marry people in New Zealand and have our head gear on in official photos in the US bit not the UK at the moment.

You can find out more about it here. Think Dude as in The Big Lebowski.

That was actually just a sporting goof, I had one of these (
) in there but it apparently didn't show up because I put it inside the quote.

I saw somebody on here post something about Dudeism and clicked over to the website some time ago. I liked what I saw and played around with the idea of getting ordained. For some reason or other I never really did it. I finally did a few minutes ago. I'm now an ordained priest in the Dudeist church.

The Dude abides
I might do it. I am already ordained in NY state through the Church of Spiritual Humanism. I have married 4 sets of people. It really only takes the paper I paid $15 for and 3 signatures, including mine, on paperwork from the town, village or county. I have charged up to $100 for this.

I could probably get non profit status for just that, just becoming non profit costs money though..., so probably not.

Hmm... I figured since churches had tax free status it would be the same. Anywho, it's cool. What all did you need to perform a wedding?
