Hey...I get it...you were raised to believe a certain transcript...really doesn't matter...you have to wake up one day and realize all of it is a man-made fabrication...handed down from generation to generation...nobody can tell you that what you believe is a lie...you will hold on to it...you will dig your heels in...you will regurgitate all of it over and over...I was raised by my parents and they were raised by their parents...1000's of years of generational and cultural belief systems shoved down the throats of unsuspecting malleable minds...for some it is just easier to accept the "norm"...rather than confront and question what was instilled...you have faith?...that is great...you want to believe in fake gods?...that is your choice...the problem that rears its ugly head time and time again...my god is better than your god...my belief system is right and yours is wrong...it's all wrong...every last word of it is nothing but lies and yet there you are holding on to it for dear life as if clinging to it will save you from damnation...I get it...better to hold on to the lies...admitting that you have been suckered all these years is that same feeling you had when you were forced to realize Santa Clause is a lie....the Easter Bunny is a lie...the tooth fairy is a lie...a crushing kick to the gut...anyone that believes the stories from the bible would be better off getting lost in the rabbit hole.

Bible holds the truth.. I was once like you, then i came to an awful yet truthful insight.. And i embarked that journey with an open mind no matter how hard it was, no matter how twisted it became, if i would lose myself in the process then so bet it, maybe just maybe i can come out as someone else on the other side.. But i did, and everyday i try to teach people the message of Jesus.. Cause i know most can find a comfort with that word and maybe just maybe become a better human..

Now, while I'm not what I consider "religious", to completely throw away the idea that God exists is doing exactly what you are against in this topic.

Just as no one knows if "God" is real, no one knows "God" isn't.

Just as believing in God is "man-made", so is not believing.

"Religion" was a good thing, a long time ago. But it got corrupted by the human ego.

The secret to "religion" is embedded in everyone of us (and every other living creature). It is up to you - nobody or nothing else.

The thing is, you can spend your life getting upset that other people believe something you don't, or you can get on with your life and try to develop some tolerance and empathy.

And it may be that you are wrong. Just what is it about you and your IQ that makes you smarter than everyone else in the world? You are obviously emotionally driven and stunted or you wouldn't react in such an emotional manner. That's not exactly civilized, is it? Could you also not be intellectually somewhat below the par?

People are religious when they pick a side in this brewing race war.

People are religious when they identify as a fan of a sports team

People are religious when they identify in a certain social or economical class

People are religious when they belong in a group, gang or other organization

And other people in these "religious" areas affect a person's opinions/beliefs as a result. Churches are not the only forms of religion. One could easily speculate that to believe one is "awake" is a religion, as it's a belief and nothing more.

I got my "Religion" but it has nothing to do with "Religion" or "God" or "Hope".

I don't think it's god he's railing against, per se. It's religion that has him in a tizzy. Just like so many over the last few thousand years, he's tired of having it shoved down his throat by self-righteous megalomaniacs, who can't let others live their lives in peace, because they MUST be converted to the clique, or suffer the eternal consequences.

Religions can be contradicting and confusing as people interpret things differently, but it does bring a measure of comfort, hope and inspiration to people. As long as one takes whatever goodness and light that they may find, it's all good.

If I said there was a Jesus who is the Christ you would be totally upset and demand that I prove that statement. I have read the same, time after time, here on ATS concerning Abraham or Moses etc. The cry is "Prove it." But now you make the claim that all of this is man made fabrication. Would it then be fair of me to ask you "Prove It." Prove to me that the bible is man made fabrication. If you do that then who knows, you may even become a god yourself.

I think each to your own.

In the society I live in religion is voluntary and not stuffed down people's throats.

Let me comment the so called "delay" of prophecies, in order to bring more "God's mercy for repentance".
On first sight, it seems logical to allow for more people within one generation, and more generations in history to get in touch to God's mercy poured out thru Jesus Christ. I do not object that.

However, if you look at the historic record, you might be terrified of an increased evil doing exactly by those who call themselves with the name Christianis, of course speaking mostly of the rulers, not of the peasants. History knows crusades, inquisition and conquistadors. For what merits of suffering Christ and those who reenact his life in their poor lives could we speak, if the main source of evil on earth appeared to be monarchs crowned by popes and patriarchs? It has nothing to do with a single line of the teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not come to give us more suffering, but to bear it INSTEAD of us. Thus, the theology based upon the original sin, the fruit in the garden, runs flat upon the fact that the great inherited evil is not only intact but even increased with time.

In modern times when the religion lost its political influence after Bonaparte era, the phenomenon of Marian apparitions surfaced as the main substitute of the failed doctrine of suffering. Here it doesn't come to the conscience of the local seer who indeed sees and hears what he/she reports. We know well of mind control tech that today is available to public. Continuously we were told by "Marys and Jesuses" of a new "delay" because of the conversion of sinners. Which sinners and which sin? Couldn't 2000 years sacrifices bring that conversion already?

Isn't it the master plan of the Devil to extend to maximum the times of suffering, including by using modern technology that we generally don't understand (like manipulation of timelines)? Where are the elect ones that should be saved by SHORTENING THE DAYS according to the words of Jesus Himself recorded in the Canonical Gospels? Who will remain if we have another delay of 10 more years, with the poor people suffering as never before, even in the most advanced countries? For me this is the doctrine of the satan, playing with the weak minds thru a number of apparitions, clergymen, and others.

Not that all of supernatural manifestation is false. I don't say that. But the trend is clearly visible. Lost of political power, substitute with "apparitions" and extend the reign to maximum. It was crowned by the false 3rd secret of Fatima that predicts a massive martyrdom on the streets of...Rome...and practically invites the faithful to take part in it, even if only on spiritual level.

That Jesus Christ never preached.

May the extraterrestrial angels who brought healing to countless people in the Old Testament, and who served Jesus in his time, come sooner and heal the humanity, who deserves better fate than being offered as a scapegoat to practically pagan belief. We need a new start based on what is good in those 6000 years. If we want to have a future at all. The other is the holocaust so lavishly offered to "enact the life and death of Jesus Christ that the Church must follow". Where did Jesus speak like that? If we refer to His words about the end times, we will see just the opposite "pray so you may escape all those things...the days will be shortened for the sake of the elect ones, otherwise not even the elect ones would be saved..." and things like that. Because Jesus cared for the flock and each individual, like Mary Magdalene, Martha, Lazarus. Unlike what is being offered thru centuries as fake image of God composed by the powerful of the day, image of cruelty and demanding sacrifices of entire generations' lifespans. That were never demanded before even in the pagan world. Enough of that. It is not Jesus, it is rather its opposite.

Usually there is a preface and it shows which committee decided on the translation/compilation, followed by the name of the publisher and printer.

Prove to me that you turned up to work last Friday, wasn't it god working through you? who controlled you? I bet you wont donate 100% of that days wages to god! You cant have it both ways.
