While browsing Netflix this weekend, I found a National Geographic Channel show where each episode presents an apocalyptical event.

First episode was a stronger version of rabies, causing what would look like a zombie apocalyspe.

Second episode was nano technology gone wrong.

Third episode was the whole planet being flooded.

Fourth episode was monster storms destroying everything.

Fifth episode was all super volcanoes erupting.

And the final episode was the planet being thrown out of its orbit, causing it to get frozen.

These scenarios are all unlikely as hell to happen, but it was fun doom porn, to be honest. I'm not sure if it's available in many countries, but here's the link on Netflix:

According to this, it's available on:

Netflix Argentina
Netflix Brazil
Netflix Costa Rica
Netflix Mexico
Netflix Panama

I'm sorry.

EDIT: IMDb calls it How to Survive the End of the World... even if you can't find it on Netflix, there might be a chance of finding it somewhere else with that title?

a civilisation [ i use the term loosely ] that has the technological base to " evacuate earth " can overcome all the senarios presented [ at least the ones that are credible ]

You can't "survive the end of the world" either.

Should be called " surviving situations that pose a risk to global civilisations, cultures and tribal communities including (although not necessarily limited to) diverse individuals and groups therein."

Funny how media continues to laugh at people when they mention 'doom and gloom' scenario's like the IS taking over America and Terrorism coming to a country near you, yet, continue to create movies and documentaries fantasizing about nuclear destruction and so on and so forth.

Reverse Psychology at work?

Walked into a book store lately? The teen fiction section is over saturated with either doom porn or dystopian fiction.

This looks like some really cool doom porn. I feel a binge coming on...if I can find it.
